My other have dropped her Pro on tarmac this morning.

Techwoven done orite by the looks of it. Not home so not taken the case off to check underneath.

No damage to sides just front and back. Benks screen protector chipped. Will see if screen got damaged once that comes off.

I have even worse experience with Benks then Pitaka. Every Armor Air case that I tried have fitment issues.
That's surprising. Pitaka has been pretty bad with consistency and quality control the last few years. Benks isn't perfect, but I think they're miles ahead of Pitaka.

would you still recommend the arc pulse with the fitment issue?
Yes. I think it’s most likely a one-off defect. Depending upon your tolerance for possibly needing to play the case lottery to get a good copy, you might want to wait until they become available on Amazon. That’s true for almost any case though.

Anyone have the Rhinoshield Solid X for the 17pm? Thinking of getting it from Amazon to give it a run, although reviews seem to focus on the fingerprints being problematic. I am deciding between that and a black Moft vegan leather to see how it compares with my cactus

I have it but haven’t put it on yet, I can throw it on when I get home this evening and snap some pics.

Ok my Bellroy Innovera case is here for my Air.

It's a bit slimmer and lighter than my Torro case and feels great as well. Buttons do stick out a bit mind and the camera control button seems to be working fine.

There is a tiny lip protection for the screen and just enough thickness for the camera bump as well.

Also the bottom of the phone covered slightly better than the Torro.

I'll give it a few days to see how I get on with it.

That case would be perfect if it didn't have an open bottom.

I dropped mine, caseless, onto a hard but carpet tiled floor from about two foot high the other week.

Dented and marked the top corner and can see a slight deformation from the front of the phone, permanently.

These phones are fragile AF and am now fully on board with the fact it was a ridiculous decision for Apple to go back to aluminium.

Will never use this thing caseless, with a phone back or with an open bottomed case after that.

Before I got my 17pro I was contemplating getting a 16pro for this reason.

If the 17pro was titanium it would be heavy AF.

Ah, such a bummer. Sorry that happened.

With the switch to stainless, and then titanium, the Pros got much tougher, followed by what seems like a rise in popularity of minimalist cases, at least among enthusiasts. It’ll be interesting to see if beefier cases like the Defender and Monarch make a comeback because of these more fragile phones.

That case would be perfect if it didn't have an open bottom.
The opening is smaller than say the Torra one I have and smaller than say the Ryan London that everyone is raving about. I’m holding out for the revised Andar Aspen to cover the bottom but still can take bigger USB C plugs.

I have put in a return request for the Caudabe sheath. It felt took bulky and heavy. I was comparing it to the tech woven case I have already. Will wait and see what else is out there before buying again.

What do you mean too bulky? More bulky than the Tech Woven?

Would love your feedback when it arrives
Got the case today and it's perfect apart from the buttons. Yes they are clicky and responsive but the thing I don't like is that they sit flush with the case so can be a bit tricky to locate. The camera button works as good as the Apple Cases. The case looks great also.
