It doesn't add much weight to my already heavy 17Pro.
It doesn't add much bulk to my already fat 17 Pro.
It very elegantly emphasizes the characteristics of this year's 17Pro line, lol
But it seems to be a good quality case, one that I'll keep! Silver/Purple combo here.
does the corners of the case pop off easy? damaged my past 14 pm with a silicone case when its corner popped off after a drop

Yup, the 17 is a heavy phone—it’s actually identical to the 14 Pro. Your 15 was the lightest of the Pro models:

iPhone 14 Pro 206 grams
iPhone 15 Pro 187 grams
iPhone 16 Pro 199 grams
iPhone 17 Pro 206 grams
iPhone Air 165 grams
I’m glad I went from the 14Pro to the 17Pro. That way I don’t miss the lighter titanium phone. I do miss my black phone.

Yea I’m still getting used to the weight. This is why I’m trying to find a lighter weight case to fit my protection needs.

The skins I ordered from QSkinz turned out horrible for me since they are 1 piece and I hate 1 piece skins. The MagSafe phone backs are great but I need a case for when I’m away from home more than a day, and so far the only case I’ve found that I like is a $10 ESR MagSafe clear case. I’m still waiting for my Caudabe Ember Paragon precise case.

I’m going caseless except for a screen protector on the front and glass protectors on the back. The sides are completely exposed which makes me think maybe I should get clear skins for the sides. This is the reason why I’ve gone caseless since March of this year. I can’t find a case that I 100% like.

The more I use the precise Sheath, the sharper this back edge seems gets o_O

Yea sharp edges can kill it. I just ordered the Apple Silicone. I know I’ll get nice rounded edges. For the 15pro the AS was my second favorite behind the sheath. I now have a skin on the camera plateau so I’m good with open.

Just got my precise Sheath today, and I’m going to have to see how much the button movement bothers me. They’re definitely looser than the 16 Pro Sheath that I had.

Has Caudabe actually said that they have had problems with button manufacturing? I might wait and ask for replacements in a few weeks, if they’ve said they’re addressing it.

The camera cutouts are also a bit off, but it’s not too bad. Maybe I’m being a bit picky.

Yes, they confirmed on Reddit that the Sheath buttons are the wrong size and they are having new buttons manufactured as replacements. Said they will send everyone with a Sheath new buttons, might be 2 years before they actually get them in stock though :( #CaudabeClownShow

SAME!!!

The seam on my Sheath was SHARP.

I've been scraping things against it, trying to wear it down.

If you have a nail file / emery board, try that.

As more people get their cases from Caudabe, it's possible that rattling buttons won't be the only thing people are upset about.

Received the TineeOwl for iPhone Air from Amazon today. It’ll be going back. Here are the issues with my copy:
  • The camera control button is inconsistent—it works fine, then it doesn’t. Super annoying.
  • The CC button also bulges out at the side.
  • The action button is stiff.
  • There is a visible gap between the lip of the case and the USB port.
  • There is a subtle MagSafe bump that will undoubtedly get worse with use.
  • The overall fit is on the loose side.
  • 45 grams.
The version for the 16 Pro Max was far better, and was actually competitive with the Sheath in my opinion. This version is not even in the ballpark. The only thing it has going for it is the grippy texture and rounded edges—it’s quite comfortable to hold.

Did they say you have to reach out and ask for the button replacements?
