YEP. But hey like I said my opinion. I guess more like cheap plastic fake leather. A lot of folks think the Paragon is slippery. I don't.Feels like fake leather? lol WTF

The Paragon has a smooth slightly slippery back no doubt. The nice grippy sides help compensate. However depending how you’re holding your phone having a smooth slightly slippery back can not secure.YEP. But hey like I said my opinion. I guess more like cheap plastic fake leather. Thanks for posting. Looks awesome on your phone. I ordered the same one for my Orange Pro Max and I'm probably going to regret it since I'll have like 3 or 4 colors going on at once here haha.Just received the Paragon in Moonstone (open) and in black (precise) for my iPhone 17 Pro. Placed the order 23/11, so 9 days from order to receiving in Oz was a pleasant surprise.
Initial impressions for the Moonstone, getting the case on felt tighter than the sheath and synthesis. The TPU frame looks lighter in person than the website renders, the colour is the same as the gray sheath. The back of the case has a smooth, sort of light textured sheen that doesn’t leave any fingerprints. The Moonstone reminds me of the Nomad Modern case in Lunar Gray but with better grip.
At the moment, my Caudabe case ranking goes Synthesis Frosted, Paragon, Sheath.
Here’s some shots of the Moonstone Paragon with the silver buttons installed. They go together really nicely I think.
I get that. It doesn't bother me as I always hold my phone by the sides. Even taking it out of my pocket. I'm used to smooth cases as its what I prefer and don't like textured cases at all. My last case was the Caudabe Lucid Clear on my 14pro. Zero texture and was perfect for 3 years. The Paragon has a smooth slightly slippery back no doubt. The nice grippy sides help compensate. However depending how you’re holding your phone having a smooth slightly slippery back can isn’t secure.
Don't you find the back slippery? Finally got my Ember Paragon here in UAE, slight delay due to public holidays. What a BEAUTY!!
Been reading here about the comparisons between Sheath and Paragon. I last owned a sheath for my 13 mini and it felt bulky AF for such a petite device so I was hesitant to get myself a Sheath for my 17 Pro. I was previously rocking the Black Techwoven and I know its lighter but to my surprise this Paragon feels lighter and more svelte. I cannot explain it.
When everyone was saying its a tight fit they were not lying it is really tight AF, I had trouble getting in it (pause). But the camera side first followed by the volume buttons then the bottom corners worked a treat.
Honestly this is probably one of the best feeling cases in the hand in a while. I can see why it's popular. Sharing some pics also in case anyone is interested on how the Ember looks on the Cosmic Orange. I do have to say the case is more vibrant and the website renders don't do it justice. The cosmic orange looks muted next to the case.
If you are on the fence about the Paragon I say give it a try. I know Caudabe have many issues (I was hesitant to pull the trigger too) but I believe they are also the most talked about here for a reason, because when they get it right, they get it right.View attachment 2584280View attachment 2584281View attachment 2584282
How’s the Gen 7 doing?Yep, landed an hour ago.

Comes with an orange action button.
First impression: Feels like a bit more substantial version of the Air 2 with less pronounced and thus more comfortable grip strips. Overall not as grippy as other cases I have here, but very comfortable to hold because of the round edges and comfy USB cutout. All buttons are nice and clicky, CC button works as intended, all cutouts are precise. Camera bump is surrounded by metal, but there is a gap between plateau and metal, so enough space for the case to move without scratching the phone, I hope.
Much like the Mous, it has additional schockabsorbing material in the corners, but the Gen 7 does not feel as substantial as the Mous. It feels more sleek and almost minimalistic, close to the form factor of the phone.
And here I thought the Grip was a rigid case. But the Gen 7 absolutely takes the cake when it comes to that 😂
Nice, did you get the camera plateau cover with your Gen 7?Yep, landed an hour ago.

Very happy so far. Could be a bit grippier, but that is the only "problem" I have with it right now (well that and knowing that I'm going to have to wrangle my phone out of it when I need to take it off). Otherwise checks all the boxes, as expected. I love how it hugs the curves of the phone. How’s the Gen 7 doing?
No, just the case. No additional options were available on amazon.Nice, did you get the camera plateau cover with your Gen 7?
That was the issue I had. The grips look grippy but aren’t grippy for me. Plus I don’t like Aramid too much fingerprints. YMMV. Glad you’re enjoying the Gen 7.Very happy so far. I agree with this 100%. Went from the TechWoven to the Paragon. Both great cases but I prefer the Paragon. It feels slim and premium on the 17 Pro. It is the case that will remain on my phone. I may go back to the TechWoven just to give it another try but don't love the texture although it's not horrible. Finally got my Ember Paragon here in UAE, slight delay due to public holidays. You think the Paragon feels slimmer than the TW?I agree with this 100%. Went from the TechWoven to the Paragon. Both great cases but I prefer the Paragon. It feels slim and premium on the 17 Pro. I do but's been a bit since I've had the TW on and may be my imagination due to the texture. You think the Paragon feels slimmer than the TW?

All around consistent grip is what I like. How much more grip do you need the case to have? I find the 7 to be grippy enough as is, any more and we're nearing dbrand Grip levels here. Is that what you're looking for?
I would appreciate Mous Limitless like grip. That’s somewhere in the middle of the two without being a lint catcher. The Gen 7 is faaaaar away from the Grip imho when it comes to that. It all boils down how one holds their phone I guess. How much more grip do you need the case to have? I find the 7 to be grippy enough as is, any more and we're nearing dbrand Grip levels here. I went from Paragon back to Sheath.Sheath
I have a Pro so I can understand those that have a PM hold their phone differently.I would appreciate Mous Limitless like grip. That’s somewhere in the middle of the two without being a lint catcher.
