I don't have applecare. I'm usually very careful with my products so I usually never get it
Honestly: I think hardly anyone will notice it, even if you want to resell the iPhone later. I see it as a (minor) cosmetic issue on the back.

100% the case. In the other reddit thread, there was someone who got a phone exchanged three times, and arc pulse did the same thing to each phone. The phone is fragile but not fragile to the point where the frame goes inward, it’s caused by the tightness of the bottom piece of the arc pulse resting on that side. When i first got my phone, i know a common complaint was people didn't have a fully flush back piece so I made sure mine did... and it did. Now it doesn't after using the arc pulse. I have not dropped it once.
I get that, but it does seem the phone should be able to handle it. I had Arc Pulse cases on both the 15PM and 16PM and never had any issues. So yeah, the case is at fault, but the phone should not be nearly so fragile that simply installing a case causes structural damage.

It's a minor issue but at the end of the day, such an expensive case should not be damaging the phone in any way.

First time apple is doing the two tone look, and the arc pulse sits slightly above that gap area pushing down on it

It’s going to be interesting to see which cases got the most usage when you guys switch to the next iPhone.

I keep returning to the Grip case. It’s just so unique. The leather skin also adheres better to the slope than the other two skins I tried (still not perfect though).
Wonder if the Sheath will be the GOAT for me, after this Odyssey. I definitely know which cases I won’t get next time 😂

I’ll be keeping this phone for two years so these cases will see some use.
With the Sheath you’re either going to hate the texture or love it.

Have any of you internet sleuths been able to locate these things?

Don't the comments on the video indicate, or at least ask where they're from?

To me, they look like something whipped up with a 3D printer, but someone in Asia is obviously selling them.

Aliexpress' search engine couldn't find its way out of a paper bag, but still, it's doubtful that they are hidden somewhere there.

Definitely no Spigen or ESR case for starters. No Apple Silicone or Clear Case, Tech 21.. maybe not even the Phone Rebel. If they don’t come up with wildly new concepts or protection for the next rounds.
Can’t wait to see you guys dissecting the Caudabe Sheath Fold in the fall 😏
What didn't you like about Spigen or ESR???

I’ve had to return several Spigen cases for bad fit and/or bad protection. Same with ESR. I do like the ESR Hybrid Clear Case though. It fits well and looks good. But I won’t bother with these cheap cases next time and go straight for a Mous or dbrand case.

ESR uses a strange material for their clear cases. I have mixed feelings about Spigen.
I have a clear ESR case that i like, yellowed after 3 months but they replaced it and didnt make me break it like Spigen did after complaining of yellowing. Some Spigen i like some i don't. Their Ultra Hybrid cases are strange, some are nice and curved (Ultra Hybrid Zero One) on the back side of the case and some are boxy (Ultra Hybrid T).

How this could be fault of Arc Pulse? The spot is under the bottom part of case and that part is in line, it can't push any hole to your phone. It's ridiculous to blame Arc Pulse!
If you do a search there are multiple reports of this. It’s pretty obvious the force required to hold the case in place by friction is causing the aluminum frame to slightly collapse in that area, which in turn is causing the buckling. Should the phone do this? No. Is it caused by the case? Yes. It’s the combination of the two that is creating the perfect storm.

That only proofs me, that 17 Pro form factor is very bad. This never happened with past iPhone models. I'm very happy, that I choose AIR this year.

No argument here. The 17 P/PM is obviously far too delicate, particularly for a flagship phone with the “Pro” moniker. I’m not sure that it 100% absolves Arc though. It’s hard to get around the fact that they’re selling a product that damages the product it was meant to protect.

Past iPhone models always had the glass back so it wouldn't happen. But i see your point, it wouldn't happen if the 17 Pro/Pro Max was designed differently but it has been so its now down to Arc Pulse to maybe change something, otherwise this could damage future sales.

It seems to me, that they don't use phones with own cases, because otherwise they will discover this issue. Or it's happens only for particular model/color? Only for Pro Max or also for Pro?

I'm looking forward to Arcs statement of this issue.

This is some insane gaslighting.

Did you bother even clicking this link?

There are people in that thread who have returned their phone for brand new ones with a fully flushed back, put on the arc pulse case and got the same issue again. One guy reported doing it 3x with 3 new iphones. I was raving about the Arc Pulse case back in October saying its my fav case ever and it still is but lets not pretend this issue doesn't exist.

I had a fit issue with the Arc Pulse on the Air (fortunately no damage) and also received pushback. I guess I don’t understand this type of intense brand loyalty.

anyone can share a coupon code for Caudate? I want to get the Sheath - iPhone 17 Pro Max (Precise).

thank you
