I‘m tempted to get the dremel and remove all the bumps in there. Because it’s thick otherwise and in my opinion doesn’t need these structural… reinforcements?
I recently got a Nomad Sport Case and it's way too slippery for my taste. Good looking, yes. But way too slippery when holding it. The MagSafe wallet helps a little but not enough. I went back to the good old Apple Silicone case.
Fun fact, TechWoven case left a few black marks on the antenna lines around camera plateau. I was able to wipe them off with a cloth, though.
I love patina. Grant Petersen of Rivendell Bicycles fame calls it “beausage”, which is a portmanteau of “beauty” + “usage”. I have some old camera cases and leather bike saddles that qualify. Perhaps my Aspen will eventually get there…
BTW - dropped my Air in the skinny Pitaka the other day. Luckily, no damage other than a cracked screen protector. It has me reconsidering my case priorities though… 😅

you worry too much about the plateau. ive used my 17PM for over a month now and have not babied it and i have no marks anywhere. that case is plastic aint no way its doing any harm to the phone

I tried one of those, lasted about 5 minutes, just like the Paragon.
I’m bored of my ESR clear case for my orange 17PM but man nothing is jumping out at me to replace it.
