Nice, only thing I've ordered so far are the Caudabe cases. I will order the Otterbox cactus and a couple others shortly.

What color Air did you order?
While I was pre-approved to preorder a silver Max, on game day, I last-second pivoted to a blue Max. Which I think is a bit more limiting for case colors that I think will "work." Anyway, my plan is to get the Max in-hand and see what back I think it might need. A slight Suti lean, atm.

I never was as unsure about cases as this year…
I have an ESR hybrid + screen protector ready at home to get started when my iPhone 17pro arrives on Friday…
I am thinking about going caseless for years but never but was always to scared… but I have apple care so I think I could at least try it till it breaks once or so… (I‘d do a screen protector anyways and maybe a skin for the MagSafe back)
But I think I‘d like a little protection for the edges might still be niceso maybe a bumper?
Arc or a rhinoshild bumper are on my list…
But the Arc is so expensive and a rhinoshild covers the edges completely so it’s a different feeling…
A super thin clear case might be nice… but those super thin case are always solid …
(those pitika cases look nice though…so maybe something ultra thin instead…)

In long term you should order Arc Pulse mate black. It's far more resistant that polished versions.
yes unfortunately I picked it up today, its like 15mm thick for the 17 pro. Will be returning it. Next to it is the iPhone 12 pro Supcase at 10mm.

Wow that’s very noticeable and unacceptable for Pitaka’s premium price and quality expectations.
I have the same case (Sunset) in ultra slim and the lines are perfectly straight.
I would contact them and exchange that if I were you, this has to be a one off or I wonder if they’re having QC issues with this new style of case.
I'm not sure if you're the lucky 1 or that should be the norm.
I went to youtube and searched a few videos .. seems like some weavings are not straight as well
