I got the Andar Aspen in Black today but already sent it back. I overall like the quality of the Nomad Traditional Horween Leather case better. I still have the Tech Woven case but might return it as well after launch day.

I've checked everywhere with no luck at all :( the 2TB is like the 27th to Oct 7-10 - I'll just be waiting it out.
Here in Australia, Apple releases stock for same day pick up at approximately 6am local time. I secured a 16PM last year for launch day pick up for my partner who missed out at preorder time.

How easy is this to get in and out of your pocket? I used to love their hardshell cases, but the silicone ones are always sticky/grabby/awkward with fabrics in my experience.
It’s already packaged up to be picked up tomorrow for return. But I expect it’s like all silicone cases, depends on the pocket. Jeans might be more difficult, canvas cargo shorts easy. No probs with my quick dry walking trousers either with Apple silicone.

Ha! I see that or Among Us. Can’t unsee it! 🤪

I’m not a case guy - greatly prefer the no case experience. Over the years, I’ve tried all kinds of cases. The past several cycles, I’ve been ordering the ultra thin ones from Totallee that I use for instances that might be a bit more rugged (like camping). Otherwise, 99% of the time it’s no case. That was until my 16 Pro. That’s when I discovered Atom Studios’ snap backs (or whatever they call them). It’s just a thin, flat, rigid back that connects to the device via MagSafe. For me, it still offers a fairly naked feel (no sides, no front lip) but gives me a layer of protection when sitting the device down on surfaces. I’m shocked how much I’ve enjoyed this solution - granted, I am a sucker for magnets. Anyway, Atomic Studios was bought by Matter and I’m not digging their options. Suti makes a similar product called PhoneBack.

Anyone know of another vendor offering similar solutions?

Thanks.

(the slimmer the better) and it was t until my 16 Pro that I finally found the “case” for me.

has my fav “case” to date. It’s a snap back from Atom Studios
I’ve only used Süti and I’m currently waiting for my phone back now to arrive.

I don’t mind the broken ring ones.
I think that's why Apple put that, to me, hideous white rectangle on the back of the clear case, to hide the off center logo. I've used the clear case forever but this one is going back. I went with the clear Casekoo case, much nicer and doesn't hide the color on the back of the phone. We'll see how it fits if I ever get my lonely, track-less phone.

I am officially all set for Friday, minus slow shipping from Nomad. They have always been so damn slow
How long does it usually take them to ship orders once it's confirmed?

I just bought a modern case in Horween burgundy and a horween brown leather back from them.

I still don't understand why they can't do something like this? Much better than blocking the back completely on a "clear" case that's not clear.

That Apple logo all off centered would drive me crazy ;) No see through cases for me this year.
Same here. That was one of the main reasons (but not the only reason) I went with the Air. I run the Arc and caseless enough that it would be annoying as heck to see the drooping logo all the time. IMO, Apple should have centered it on the phone as usual.

I ordered the Traditional Horween Leather Case on 9/9 after the keynote, it shipped on 9/11 and I got it on 9/13. It also had to travel from California to New York. Surprisingly fast considering it was shipped USPS Ground Advantage.
