Agreed. That hard edge also made it impossible to place the logo in an ideal position. Caseless it needs to be centered on the glass plate, with a clear case it needs to be centered on the phone, and with the Arc Pulse (or similar) it needs to be somewhere in between.
Who knows, but to me this all suggests the engineers are now in charge at Apple, whereas historically it was the designers.
I will not tire of orange. It's my fav color and I'll only see the camera module occasionally.
My thoughts exactly! I love orange and knew as soon as I saw the announcement that’s what I wanted! I’ve had a black iPhone for as far back as I can remember. I’m happy to finally have something with some color.
I also knew I always stick my phones in a protective case, so I won’t be seeing much of the orange, if any, for very long anyways.
Will Caudabe list their cases on Amz? I can’t remember what the main differences are between the Sheath and Synthesis. Do they have the same texture / feel? I wouldn’t mind trying the more protective of the 2 and the one that feels more like a Gripzilla.
Just got the green one w stand in while we wait for the OB DP price to drop from it's ridiculous $80. This is similar to the commuter, and you're right - feels great. I think probably not enough protection for what we need but excellent for something tougher than the normal thin ones, without being bulky.

Apparently they’ve embedded a layer of poly in the back to stiffen it up and prevent the dreaded MagSafe indent. Rumors and conjecture only—nothing confirmed—but if true, that would explain how they were able to make it thinner.

I believe so. Last year’s didn’t have any poly at all, just a thicker TPU back.

My mous carbon fibre slim arrived today. Exactly the same as the one on my 15 pro max, unsurprisingly - my favourite case ever.
