My mous carbon fibre slim arrived today. Exactly the same as the one on my 15 pro max, unsurprisingly - my favourite case ever.

What color Air did you order?

While I was pre-approved to preorder a silver Max, on game day, I last-second pivoted to a blue Max. Which I think is a bit more limiting for case colors that I think will "work." Anyway, my plan is to get the Max in-hand and see what back I think it might need. A slight Suti lean, atm.

I received the Terracotta silicone case today for the 17PM. I also picked up this Ridge Carbon case at Best Buy. The Ridge case has a nice rubberized coating to it. Feels nice in the hand.

Honestly I might keep both. Both will give decent resale value next year to cover the cost for the Fold.

Absent-mindedly ordered the pro max ultra slim moonrise rather than the pro and trying to work it if returning it is going to a pain as opposed to sticking it on eBay.

Some quick photos of the two cases I ordered for my incoming iPhone 17 Pro: Nomad Modern Leather Olde Dublin and Apple TechWoven Green. I’d planned on keeping one, but they both look and feel superb. I usually go with a Nomad leather case and have never been disappointed, but the TechWoven could be a solid change of pace. Love their Olde Dublin leather but all photos I've seen, the colour is much darker than the box art.

Mine is shipped. In the U.S. Süti is using the “Parcel Delivery Network” service which handles the first part of the shipment before handing off to the Postal Service for “last mile” delivery. So far it has been incredibly slow and the tracking is purposefully vague (they give themselves a 7 day delivery window estimate…lol). These services that hand off to the Postal Service are often bottom of the barrel…

What state are they shipping from? I got a tracking number and it says Order Ready, Awaiting Pickup by Our Shipping Partner... but its not actually shipped

The PitaTap on the ultra slims are really appealing and makes holding the case in hand way more comfortable without the extra cutout on the CC button area. I also really like the camera plateau area on the Pitaka making the plateau look smaller in comparison to the Benks. Also Pitaka has finally gone low key on their branding I hated the big branding on the bottom of the previous gen.

I might just be going the Pitaka route for ultra slims. I’m really impressed on the improvements Pitaka has made on their ultra slims this year.

But my Benks Aurora ArmorPro full coverage is staying. I don’t like how how the Pitaka full coverage cases have colored borders around the screen in the front except for their Black/Gray 600D which has a black border but I avoid the Black 600D on Benks or Pitaka because they are the worst fingerprint magnets.

The Benks Aurora ArmorPro still has colors from the Aurora design but with the black front borders which is the cleanest in my opinion to look at while staring at my phone screen, not a fan of staring at colored borders.

So yea I’m cheating or you could say trading team on the Ultra Slims but full coverage I still prefer Benks.
