Is it a dust free installation kit?

Curved edges ?
Yeah, it has an elaborate installation tray that’s supposed to pull the dust off the screen when you yank the plastic sheet off the protector and then you slide an orange roller over the whole screen to eliminate bubbles. It sort of resembles those old carbon paper credit card machines.

And yes, curved edges.

I got the Torres OrigArmor and using the tray to install it went well, everything looked good, no dust. But it installed it just slightly too high. Does anyone else have the same exact screen protector with that issue? I hate to order another one if it’s a manufacturing issue maybe because they didn’t have the actual phone yet

This was actually common finding last year. I always take my protectors off the tray and put them back on to make sure they’re aligned

I read mentions of it being not anti-reflective?

Installed the ESR Amorite. Used them on the 12/13/14/15/16 and installed earlier on the 17 and it won’t stick at the top. No idea why.

Annoying but hey ho. I’ll try the second one. If that doesn’t stick I’ll order the benks.

What (if any) screen protector is everyone using on their Air? Seems the majority of talk here is not for Air.
Esr or torras for now. I have both on hand but wanted to keep testing the anti reflective coating on my Air first. Still debating if I want to use the protectors.

I put my torras on and will probably take it off. It really made the glare and reflections much more noticeable.

They dont have an OrigArmor, so might just go without one for now

my torras origarmor install is pretty perfect but there is a small scratch. Amazon will replace it but now I have to risk getting it perfect again

Sorry for my ignorance, but I don’t fully get this new anti-reflective glass on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

What does it actually mean? Does it stop me from just buying any normal screen protector?

How about this: https://a.co/d/2Dl000h ?

If I can’t just use that protector, what’s the best option right now — something that’s really scratch-resistant (military grade), feels almost invisible (like there’s no protector at all), and doesn’t interfere with Apple’s new anti-reflection feature?

It’s a coating that decreases reflections. Unlikely any screen protector will retain it unless it has its own anti glare/reflective coating.

I’m thinking the same. I took my air and 16p all around in different lighting to get an idea of the AR coating and it does make a difference. Might not be a deal breaker to not have it for some people. How did the torras fit (camera cutout, edge to edge, borders)? If I were to use one I’d like it to be as invisible as possible on my naked phone.
