Is there any consensus on which screen protector is least noticeable? I haven't used one in years but thinking about getting one for my 17 Pro. Another issue I had the last time I used one was the amount of smudges it got.

I have the regular Torras on my 17 Pro Max and it is fine. OrigArmor are not available here from Amazon so I had to order it from Torras itself which shipps from China.

On Monday my Hoda Sapphire should arrive. I loved it until last years 16 Version which was not good and they never fixed it. Hopefully this year they fix it so I would only need my OrigArmor as Backup. I don`t know why but I love the cold Sapphire touch feeling.
Looking forward to your review of the hoda!

Noticed my Benks Warrior Sapphire is not quite centred 🫣, noticed a slightly bigger gap on the right side to case lip and on checking the border is encroaching the screen a tiny amount. Will try to ignore it as I have a similar thing the last two phones, lol.

If it bothers me I'll try to re-apply it by hand with a different brand as back up if I mess it up.

O
I got the Torres OrigArmor and using the tray to install it went well, everything looked good, no dust. But it installed it just slightly too high. Does anyone else have the same exact screen protector with that issue? I hate to order another one if it’s a manufacturing issue maybe because they didn’t have the actual phone yet

same thing happened to me it didn’t line up properly. Even though I tried lining up before installing.

Esr or torras for now. I have both on hand but wanted to keep testing the anti reflective coating on my Air first. Still debating if I want to use the protectors.
I’m thinking the same. I took my air and 16p all around in different lighting to get an idea of the AR coating and it does make a difference. Might not be a deal breaker to not have it for some people. How did the torras fit (camera cutout, edge to edge, borders)? If I were to use one I’d like it to be as invisible as possible on my naked phone.

It fits well honestly. Only complaint is that the edges aren’t as rounded or smooth as the OrigArmor was on my 16P.

Returned the ESR Amorite 7x protectors. Black border of death was such a disappointment. Picked up some Dbrand Prism today at Best Buy and fits like a glove with no black borders. Definitely a keeper for the time being.

man no room for error on that install, looks good tho! only downsides of these is they usually pick up a lot of lint on the edges

Installed the ESR Amorite. Used them on the 12/13/14/15/16 and installed earlier on the 17 and it won’t stick at the top. No idea why.

Annoying but hey ho. I’ll try the second one. If that doesn’t stick I’ll order the benks.
Same with my base and the Amorite, along the bottom corner edge a whole section just will not stick. Also wary of the black border but can't really tell so far. Will give it a few days to see if the edge seals or not but think bc its an edge it won't. Bummer.

Amazon USA link for regular Pro for exact one you mention, please?

How’s edge coverage compared to the Shellrus you has previously?

I did the sinful thing and paid $25 for Zagg + $8 for install from Best Buy.

The dude seemed to really know what he was doing, the margin of the thin borders from that to possible curving of the front or where it meets the front edge of my case seems narrow.

Free replacement and install as needed too. I figured 'screw it' considering phone is the only thing I use with a screen protector of all my devices (notwithstanding like the Switch 2, but I did that myself with relative ease)

Shellrus, Hodas, and any other real sapphire protectors will always have less coverage since they cannot make curved edge sapphire screeen protectors.

Origarmor has excellent edge coverage considering it is a 3d curved edge like the flolab.

Torras AR seems decent. Not as good as flolabs but better than their standard glass. It does seem prone to scratches. The fit is excellent and I don’t think it’s cutting into the screen

I don’t understand why Flolab doesn’t have their 3D edge version yet like they finally released for the 16. The Fitbit the earlier versions wasn’t good. Their 3d edge version was perfect. The torras fits very nicely. Doesn’t seem to cut into the screen. Mine has a scratch on it from the box so I am getting a replacement but this one did align perfectly so I hope I can replicate that. Honestly the AR is decent but Flolab is better and the polarspectra is something I really like.

Has anyone bought the Flolab that exists for the 17 series? What is the edge and fit like?

So what I ordered was evidently similar? They have so many SKUs for everything lol
