Been using ESR for the last 4 years. Haven’t had any issues and cheap enough for a 3 pack from amazon

Looking for a good antiglare non-glass screen protector please for the 17PM. Similar to the S25U. I want it thin and barely noticeable that’s it’s on. Thank you.

Just got my replacement Torras OrigArmor from Amazon and installed it. Second time was a charm and it went on perfectly, zero dust and perfectly centered!

I don't know if I just got lucky this time around, but I tried installing it faster, pulling on the dust-free tab pretty quickly so that the static electricity would yank any stray dust bits onto it. It seemed to work and I'm really happy with how it looks.

Compared to my older phone that doesn't have an AR screen protector, the difference is night and day. The OrigArmor screen looks jet black when turned off compared to the mirror shine of the older phone.

I didn’t push mine down at all if that helps ya

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Just installed the replacement after the first one had some dust, and following your guys’ methods, it was an absolute perfect install, no dust. I did what @FatCatSings mentioned, pulling the dust-free tab quickly to create that static electricity.

Dont know if that helped with removing any dust that, if there were any, but a full inspection of the protector revealed none.

@Itsedstech i may order the Shellrus as well to use as backup in cause the Torras develop any scratches or cracks. Standing by in case you want to ditch the Torras and install the Shellrus for us 😂

I’m really liking the Torras OrigArmor and how the install is so easy and really ingenious

Just to confirm, before you pulled the dust-free tab, you didn’t press the screen protector down slightly so it’s closer to the glass, you just let the protector float above the glass (after it’s secured of course) and just held the tray down, then pulled the tab?

I got my replacement as well and trying to follow other people’s method to endure a dust-free install then the first one I did.
Yup, didn’t press it down, I just let it float above the glass.

Oh ok. Good to know. How did you request a replacement through amazon?
I just went into my orders and requested a return for the item. Don’t select the option to be serviced by Torras, just choose Amazon as your customer service option and it gave me the option to either be issued credit back to my account or to receive a replacement.

I’m having a hard time deciding between the Torras OrigArmor and Flolab NanoArmour OneTime Pro for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. What would you do?

Torras OrigArmour

EDIT; just re-read, you want non-glass so ignore

Typically not needed and can affect image quality

Apple's sapphire lens covers are the real deal and highly durable...even more so than Ceramic Shield.

Wasn't really for camera lens protection - more to protect the exposed part of the handset from scratches etc.....

Thank you. I’ve never used a screen protector, I don’t really care for the extra layer. But coming from a S25U, I want that effect thus, I’d be happy with a film if one exists? Even if it means changing it every 6 months or so. I’m not even sure if an AR film even exists. Completely new to this area.

Haven’t seen the “WSKEN” brand mentioned. Mobilereviewseh rated them a 2nd best in a previous video. I ordered them for the air and have them already. Will be installing when I get the air in hand today.

The 17 and the 17 pro have the same exact screen size and shape. Pretty sure the same panel too
Screen size yes but the dimensions are slightly different

17 pro is 150.0 x 71.9 x 8.75 mm (5.91 x 2.83 x 0.34 inches), while the iPhone 17 measures 149.6 x 71.5 x 7.95 mm (5.89 x 2.81 x 0.31 inches).

Messaged Torras on Amazon UK to ask when if they will sell the OrigArmor there and was told sometime in October.

Already ordered from their own site.

I just bought the cheapest ($4) glass screen protector i can find and its working fine. Its crazy seeing people spending north of $60 for a piece of glass. I get its sapphire but who needs that really? The best part is the glass i bought comes with an applicator and 2 pieces. The only time i would consider spending more would be if they release a glare reducing film like Samsung does for their phones.

Did you just return the screen protector or everything included ? When you asked for replacement?

if you think $60 for a screen protector is bad, dont even think about going into the cases thread lol we throw away a whole phones worth of cases throughout the year over there

Tend to agree - some of the prices and associated marketing hyperbole are ridiculous (same goes for cases). I'm okay spending £20 for the Touras OrigArmor, but that's my limit, and even then, you know their profit margin is still through the roof (and very tight, it's a single screen protector in the pack). However, in my experience, spending a little more on a quality screen protector means it's very resetant to scratches and is good for the entire 12 months I have the phone.

Got this one from Amazon. Installation was flawless and looks great. Waiting on Caudabe CrystalShield Elite AR. This one may stay on until it breaks or scratches.

Hopefully nobody minds if I ask this here?

Did anybody happen to use the screen protector cam with the phone rebel 5? I need to put a new one on the 15 to give to the wife and wasn’t sure if it was any good. I’ve been using the flolab since install.
