How is everyone’s Torras Origarmor screen protector holding up? I saw some people complaining of scratches after a few days?
My has been on since Oct 6th. It’s been great. Just some very minor hairlines (have to really look for them). The 3D edges are amazing and a pleasure to finger.

I’ve had mine since 10/4, and I have micro scratches that can be seen under certain lights with one scratch that can be seen with and without lights. I keep my phone in its own pocket by itself and put it down back up. I’m going to keep using it until it gets a crack. I’m going to order a Flolab soon to see how it looks and whether it holds up better against scratches. Other than that it’s great.

I have used Torras for the last 3 iPhones and they were great. This year mine scratched way too quickly. It usually seems to wear down somewhere around the 6-8 month mark, but 2-3 weeks and small scratches on my 17 Pro.

Did you change it to something else?

I'm using this Flolab on my 17 Pro Max, the screen protector is really good. Shipping took 5 days from China to Canada, and the installation was easy. I had two small bubbles that came off after using the squeegee. AR coating is good, I haven't tested the anti rainbow coating yet.

Did you have to pay any customs fees to Canada?

Has anyone used the Belkin Privacy screen protector? Would love to know some opinions.

I wouldn’t go with any privacy screen protectors. You’re losing of screen clarity, colours, brightness!
It’s a shame to have maybe the best screen on a mobile device and turn it down with a 20 bucks glass.

What's the blue border in the second pic? Is it a photo to test if the protector cuts off any pixels?
Correct. I used the two photos from this post: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...s.2464376/page-38?post=34250587#post-34250587

Intention is to see if anything is being cut off from any of the edges. If you go back some pages, some protectors with black bars will cover a few pixels on the edges so you won’t see the side most guidelines in the camera UI or would be missing part of that line around the screen from my second photo.

My photos weren’t the best, had a bit of bloom, as I only had a cheap Android phone handy to take photos of the iPhone 17 PM. But still the lines were there which is what I wanted to demonstrate.

With the prices of some of these screen protectors, wouldn't one be better off letting Apple install the Belkin one in the store, which I believe comes with a lifetime guarantee - so if it does bubble or crack etc, you get a free replacement, which you can take to the Apple store and have them fit......
Anyone use this?

I use it 😁

Whats it like? Full screen coverage with no overlap? Slightly beveled edge?
Have you ever needed to get it replaced?
I rarely use screen protectors at all, but then again I look after my phone - never place anything else in the same pocket etc, but looking to get one on my wife's hone before she throws it into her bag with all her other stuff! lol

Here’s my origarmor after a month lol

I did send them an email and they refunded me so I’ll order another one once I crack this one.

Is it a defect? I have had the Torras one since it came out and have 0 scratches lol yours looks pretty bad.

So far ive tried:
- zagg xtr 4 way privacy (awful coverage/ awful installation/ awful everything)
-weskin 4 way privacy (decent coverage/ okay install/ some touch sensitivity issues, okay clarity, poor to non existant AR coating)

and now the flolab privacy 2 way 3d edge version. It is by far the best. The screen clarity is the best ive seen for a privacy protector. The coverage is by far the best, and the AR coating is great. I think by far its the best privacy protector you can find based on the ones ive tried and looking around. The install was also easy and they provide a nice full screen sticker. I did have bubbles that i squeegeed out. The touch sensitivity is also better than the ones mentioned above.

Did email them directly just letting them know your dissatisfaction ?what are going to order next.
Emailed them through the Amazon message section. Nothing I’ll order another one of these. Scratches don’t bother me when the screen is on
