The color definitely is not my cup of tea nor is the silicone case. It doesn’t match well with any of the Pro colors though imo.
I know you mentioned it matches well with Silver but the cool silver aluminum color with the warm vanilla color doesn’t go well imo and I won’t even bother to mention the Deep Blue. Cosmic Orange might be the best pairing actually imo due to both being on the warm side.

I think it definitely matches the silver. That’s the nice thing about silver, it’s neutral so every color goes with it. Also, the color isn’t as warm as it is on the website. But to each their own.

I haven’t mentioned anything about the silicone case in a while in here since early on in this cycle when everyone was saying “it’s different this year.”
But I’m glad you remember where I stand 😄
Post some photos when you get it. That’s why I enjoy this forum it’s fun to see everyone’s pairings.
It was quite a bit back then so hard to forget haha.
I actually haven’t ordered it. I’m currently still using my midnight but when I do likely get it down the line- I definitely will!
Synthesis in my opinion is the best third party case out there. Its very addictive.

Yeah, probably my favorite. Wish it was lighter. PR Frosty is not bad either, but the way the kickstand piece feels along the back of the case annoys me lol.

They do complement each other well.
If Apple also gave it a vanilla scent, they would sell a ton of 'em. 😉
Any comments about how the TO v2, DX, or whatever it's called fares in terms of the CC button? My biggest issue with the CC button, even on a naked phone, is that it takes too much effort to depress, and falls short in tactility. I don't have small hands, but it could also stand to be shifted a closer to the corner so that it isn't such a reach, which would also provide better leverage to trigger. It's such an obvious concept, but not well executed.
Cases that sink it deeper into a recess don't help. But it looks nice, and isn't exorbitantly priced.

Yep. But the best part is it's not even perfectly straight! So on the left side, I can see it about as far as the volume buttons, and then below that I can't. On top there's a cutout around the speaker area so you can definitely see it there. And then most of the right side you can also see it, except maybe a few cm on the bottom lol.
I think part of that is because the frame is fairly soft, so the buttons are pushing it out a little bit.
This definitely isn't a case for like, the people getting all upset about the alignment of the cutouts for the camera lenses not being perfect on the caudbe cases. 😉
I'm with ya here unfortunately. The worst part is paying all that money for that! But aesthetically it was exactly what I was wanting. So IDK what to say 🙁

Finding flaws in cases is a contact sport around here… 😉
I’m with you here - yeahhh nah, based on the video that Vanilla case really does not go with the Deep Blue phone and neither does the Guava, so if you have the Deep Blue the new cases to me are useless. Disappointing as I’ve always been a fan of the Spring release cases, but I am with @lyceumHQ on this one, I will probably go for a Purple Fog silicone which would make a nice Spring case anyway and that one has been shown to go great with Deep Blue. That or the Terra Cotta. For the 17 Pro cases, unusual but all the nice colours were dropped at release time - Neon Yellow, Midnight Blue, Terra Cotta, Purple Fog to name a few.

Mine has been in and out alot and there are scratches but u cant even see it when its on the phone so does it even matter?
