The moft is an excellent case. That said, I still prefer the feel/texture of the OtterBox cactus. Just personal preference.

I see what you mean, I do like the larger grainy texture on the Otterbox. It does look nice but Moft’s texture is really nice as well.

The camera plateau ring on the Moft is a lot nicer imo it fits the plateau nicely, isn’t sharp and is a nice glossy plastic that perfectly matches whatever color case you choose.

On the Otterbox it’s a sharp metal ring that protrudes out so much, it leaves a gap around the plateau making it look unnecessarily larger. I also don’t care for the grayish looking metal plateau and buttons on the black case.

Based off of just that I’d easily choose Moft over the Otterbox.

Totally agree about the camera plateu difference. OtterBox’s is very rough and can scratch easier

It’s a fingerprint magnet, for sure. But easy to clean again. And grippier than the frosted version. Love it

I have been trying the Flolab Surtect as well in the frosted version. After the ghost, I said never again on the clear cases due to fingerprints. The frost is a nice compromise.

What was it about last years surtect that you didn’t like?

I went with the frost black and white MagSafe ring to match the silver pro. Last one to try is the frost synthesis, will likely only keep one of those and the final rotation will be

1) Flolab surtect v synthesis frost
2) Tineeowl v2
3) Ridge carbon
4) Techwoven

That should be it this round.

- Return and get silver (which is a ball ache to transfer everything)
- Get a plateau cover. Sticker? Metal snap on? (would prefer to NOT cover lenses, pop out?)
- Get a case that covers the plateau (like the Paragon or Sheath)

- Return and get silver (which is a ball ache to transfer everything)

- Get a case that covers the plateau (like the Paragon or Sheath)

I hear you. I had the Deep Blue originally and regretted not getting the Silver. I wasn’t feeling seeing the blue plateau either.

My wife wanted to upgrade her 15 PM and only ever goes with Black so Deep Blue was it being the dark option this time due to no black. She took mine and I bought a Silver and haven’t looked back since.

She’s using the Spigen Thinfit in black on it which covers the plateau and just shows the blue rings which looks good but still isn’t for me. She said the Silver phone isn’t for her so everyone has their preference lol

I do have to say though Deep Blue looks the best naked imo.

If you’re still in the 14 day window I say go for the trade you’ll be happy you did!

I would return and get silver! Silver is such a timeless and elegant color. It also goes with any case as well so, if it’s not too much of a hassle aside from having to transfer everything, I would

Yeah.. I do like a good case assortment (like you!) The silver is clearly the most neutral.

Lord, I would rather have teeth pulled than replacing a damn screen protector 😵‍💫

We just got both colours, blue for me, and wife having silver lol she does care anyway.

Love the blue, and yes naked it is better. Getting a bellroy night sky, and apple woven blue. I am usually all boring black.
