Yes, the Paragon is a little bit too bulky, the moft is too slippery, the edges of the TW don't wrap far enough around the screen… 😂

At the moment, I’m back to using an Apple silicon case (Guave). But it's a bit of a dust magnet. 😅
I’ve also been back in the Apple silicone for a minute. Been using the midnight and love it!

Tbh I keep going back to the Apple silicone. Tried the paragon, too bulky, sheath didn’t do it for me either. Ghost 2.0 is great but I can’t deal with the fingerprints.

I want to try the tineeowl, synthesis and ideally the pitaka sums in blue but I’m just reluctant to spend more cash if I’ll be upgrading in 6 months as these cases aren’t cheap.

I might order a load of cheap ones on Amazon just to scratch the case obsession itch 😂😂
If you feel the Paragon is too Bulky, the Synthesis definitely won’t feel any slimmer. It’s a very boxy thick case.

Also Tineeowl is bulky as well. Its curved edges do make it comfortable to hold in hand but it’s not really a slimmer case than the Paragon either.

I don’t find the Moft slippery at all. It’s just the right amount of grip imo. For example I feel more confident with grip holding the Moft vs the Paragon.

Got this cool mini green tool box today at Harbor Freight. Great to keep my 17 Pro Max, Air Pods, Watch and sunglasses in. Every time I go into HF I come out with a ton of crap I didn’t go in for. $18.99 and it’s nice quality.

I bought one of these for myself last year in blue to hold my EDC knives. Then, I saw the green from this year and bought one for my wife for Christmas (her favorite color is green). She hasn't quite figured out what she's going to use it for, but she loves it. And you're right, top notch quality.

The Pitaka Edge ended up being my #1 this year, so I made this one last purchase to round out the collection. I haven’t seen another case in weeks that has even mildly sparked my interest, so I think this is truly it for this year.

Hey fam, I’ve been lying low lately. The Caudabe Paragon Midnight Precise has been my go-to but getting the bug for another case.

The dbrand tank is intriguing. How do the specs (height/width/depth thickness and weight) compare to the Paragon and Apple Silicone for iPhone 17 Pro?

Thanks for the pics.

I was going to ask if the Mous case has sharp egdes? That's anther complaint I frequently read on Reddit. I know it's hard to find the 'perfect case' and most cases with have slight issues that you will have to overlook, however the Mous case is very expensive and one of the most expensive cases on the market. I do believe the case should be near perfect considering the price.

Is the case your daily driver? I am thinking if I should take the plunge and buy it...

No sharp edges on my copy. I usually run a case for at least a few days before making a decision but at the moment I dont think it will be the daily driver.

To your point, it’s one of the most expensive cases and doesn’t have anything like titanium or metal buttons or exotic material (outside of the aramid fiber, but that’s commonplace now). I have yet to find a perfect case for this gen but that all depends on what you’re looking for.

The Mous is better this year than the last one I had, but it’s also more expensive. If you’re on the fence or expecting perfection for the price, I would probably pass. Mine will either be light duty or returned even if it’s just to run the duo of Tineeowl and Synthesis.

Back to the Techwoven for a bit, forgot the buttons are actually the best and it’s not even close.

Judging by the new Caudabe cases for the new Samsung phones, I’m fully expecting the Synthesis to be a touch slimmer next year and the Paragon to have a more matte textured back. Both welcome changes imo

Fair play. I probably won’t order one then. It just made the phone feel oddly wide if that makes sense.

Can someone post profile pics of these cases together? Even with the ghost or Sheath. I just want to get an idea how the tank compares to cases that I am familiar with. Thanks!

@walds11

The tank is going to be noticeably wider and thicker than either the paragon or sheath. Its really a case you have to just try so see if the unusual patterns on the side and back or the shape works for you.

If you are in the US, you could order from Best Buy and return it if it’s not a good fit.
I like the look of the tank, but if it is noticeably wider and thicker than the paragon, then nah. The paragon is the max I will go size wise. But good to know Best Buy has them now.

Noticeably wider, thicker and heavier. Not sure if weight is a factor but the Tank for the Pro Max is 60g and the Paragon is 49g. I know you have a Pro so it’ll be a little lighter but that thing is heavy!

I absolutely love my TineeOwl. Craps on the Paragon and Sheath IMO

Nice clicky buttons. The rounded action button is super nice and the texture is less sandpaper than Sheath more than most other cases but not uncomfortable. It feels so good in the hand. The rounded edges also feel good
