Out of the Beats rugged and into the Tank v2. Cutouts and buttons are much better than the original copy I had. Surprisingly not as much screen lip as the Beats.

The MagSafe on the tank may be the strongest on a case I can remember.

I also have a Tank on route, arriving tomorrow. Had to give it a try. Was tempted to order the touch grass skin along with it for my grip case because it’s just so cool 😂
I’m curious what the new official Apple cases will be for the rumoured new iPhone colors. I won’t be upgrading this year, but reading along with y’all come September.

Otherwise metal buttons are great, mix of TPU/metal camera frame is nice, it’s lightweight, butter soft feeling in hand and it does look good.

The moment you touch it though it is a major smudge magnet. If having a greasy looking case pretty much all the time doesnt bother you then it’s fine.

It has its pluses but the negatives outweighed the positives for me plus it is overpriced imo. I ended up returning mine.

Wow I am surprised to read about the fit because it I thought it was a very tight fit.
I also think the smudges are going to bother me so I think I will pass.
What cases would you say has a better fit?

Been running my midnight silicone again for a bit now and I’m loving it! It really does remind me a lot of my favorite midnight blue silicone I had back in the day for my iPhone X. Glad Apple decided to bring it back.

My only minor gripe is the fingerprints and smudges. I wipe it down once a day, though, so it stays looking fresh and doesn’t bother me much.

The Dbrand cases have been hit or miss over the years, but the skins I have never liked. Not sure what manufacturer they use for the vinyl but the three I tried all gave me trouble. Wraps I have used from other manufactures like Slickwraps and Fishskyn have been more forgiving.

The touch grass and some of their other bespoke patterns are pretty cool, which is why I gave them a shot. Ymmv

Yeah, just swapped into the tank myself (no idea how to get my phone out of this prison ever again though 😅) and it’s something. The buttons are fantastic and there are so many surfaces to grip at. It’s quite unique. I also like the mix of matte and glossy finishes. I got the plasma buttons along with it, but I like this stealth look.

I would love the case if it wasn't for the illuminati eye

Yeah I love the look and feel of Tank buttons too. However, they’re are a bit too easy to press accidentally.
