Welp back in the pro max already even with a ghetto busted up corner. Anyone else’s sheath missing the smudge mark that’s advertised on Caudabes post?
Better case, Sheath or Paragon?
Ordered one due to your glowing review 😂Yeah.
If the Paragon had the same all around grip as the Sheath, then Paragon.Better case, Sheath or Paragon?
Good question! I guess my top… eight? most favorite/most used cases now after 6 months with the phone would be in no particular order:What are your current tops now @Ava*
Easily the Paragon. I’d even take the Synthesis over the Sheath for the 17 series. The Sheath used to be the set it and forget it option for prior generations, but this just isn’t it. To each their own though….Better case, Sheath or Paragon?
Paragon.Better case, Sheath or Paragon?
Which one did you get?Really liking the Mous limitless, going to return the Pitaka as I don’t feel safe with the Pro in a thin case lol

Both works for me.Better case, Sheath or Paragon?

Good question! I guess my top… eight? most favorite/most used cases now after 6 months with the phone would be in no particular order:
- dbrand Tank
- Bellroy Venture
- Caudabe Sheath
- Mous Limitless
- Catalyst Influence
- Rhinoshield AirX
- Beats Rugged
- Torras Q3 Air
There’s other cases I like but never really use because of concerns with drop protection (PR Gen7 and Air, Beats regular) or internal structure (dbrand Grip) or QC (Rhinoshield Solid X) or discoloration (Flolab Surtect).
Not a fan of the paragon. Back is far too slick and scratch prone.Better case, Sheath or Paragon?
Would love to try the Tineeowl v2, but not available in Germany sadly. ☹️ I’m debating trying a Paragon or Synthesis because I still have reward points. Which one do you prefer?Tough one:
-shape, screen protection, MagSafe strength =paragon
-hand feel, grip, minimal profile =sheath
Paragon is better on paper but I think I prefer the sheath. Honorable mention to the synthesis.
Good list, I still have or have tried most of these and agree. Tank and sheath are my rugged/slim 1+2 favorites in my rotation at the moment. Have a Q3 Air in the collection to try, but concerned about the ring scratching up MagSafe mounts.
Tineeowl v2 and synthesis would also make my top list.
I suspect and I could be wrong but I think the back of the Paragon will be too slippery for you. YMMV though because some say it’s not or just enough.Would love to try the Tineeowl v2, but not available in Germany sadly. ☹️ I’m debating trying a Paragon or Synthesis because I still have reward points. Bummer, it’s like a slightly bulkier sheath with more screen protection.Would love to try the Tineeowl v2, but not available in Germany sadly. ☹️ I’m debating trying a Paragon or Synthesis because I still have reward points. Which one do you prefer?
Just discovered I could order the Tineeowl DuneX from amazon.com for 6,39€ shipping and no additional fees.... (all in all $39 or about 35€) How's the drop protection on this case? I see in the reviews the lighter cases discolor very quickly?Bummer, it’s like a slightly bulkier sheath with more screen protection.
Personally, I would probably give the nod to the synthesis, but it’s more of a traditional boxy shaped case. The paragon is a sleek design but the back material is the biggest downside to me. It’s a low grip hard plastic, but at least it’s fairly low gloss. The frosted back on the synthesis is the best clear (ish) case I have tried FWIW.
The more cases I have tried, especially this year, have changed my opinion on ones maybe I didn’t care for at first.
Caudabe Sheath would be my suggestion. Super clicky aluminium buttons, soft lining, great drop protection for its almost minimal bulk.Need a case recommendation.
Going to Hawaii on vacation soon so thin but protective. Currently rocking a black Apple silicone, like it but it gets so greasy and I can see it on the black color.
Was thinking the vanilla colored silicone? I have a silver iPhone.
Or Tineowl 2? I need somewhat slim and microfiber lining is a must. Clicky buttons that are metal are preferred. Love the silicone size but not sure how it will hold up if dropped.
I can’t speak for the discoloration on lighter colored cases, but drop protection in my experience has been good. I dropped my 16 pro max in the original Tinee several times on hard floors with no damage and case never popped off. Have not dropped the 17 but fit and build is very similar. It’s more rounded than the sheath on the sides/corners and a tad bulkier, but similar texture.Just discovered I could order the Tineeowl DuneX from amazon.com for 6,39€ shipping and no additional fees.... Yeah I love my frosted cases as well (especially the Catalyst Influence.. only downside here are the rattly buttons) and that's what's most appealing to me with the Synthesis. My main focus now is on cases that offer good drop protection and I think I would trust the Synthesis with this.
How’s this working out?Might work?

Pain to get straight and centered; looks okay?
Sheath gray open. I think you’ll find the back of the Paragon somewhat close to almost, barely on the slippy side.Okay, Gray Sheath Open or Black Paragon Open for the orange beater phone?
Give me your vote 🤔
