Have you tried, say, a Flolab Surtect? Superb protection, tight fight, comfortable in the hand and not the most expensive. Not slippery but also not the grippiest. The frosted ones hide fingerprints well.
And if you don’t mind some bulk, the Bellroy Venture is a joy to hold with great protection and tight fit. Albeit also not the grippiest.

I will check out the Flolab case. At that price, it's not super expensive like you said. It looks similar to the Caudabe Frosted Synthesis tbh. Is it a better case?

Also does the frost hold up overtime with the Flolab? I know with some frosted cases, the frost starts to wear away if you keep removing the phone from the case.

Just took delivery of the Belkin sheer force grip.

Fancied a new case but didn’t want to spend much. This was on offer for £15.

It’s a lot like the spigen liquid air but with an open plateau and a proper camera control button (not just a cover like the spigen).

No complains for £15.

I don’t have the Synthesis, only the Sheath, but from what I’ve seen from the Synthesis, compared to the Surtect, you would get a more minimal case with metal buttons and grip dots on the sides.

I have no experience with the frost wearing away as I got the frosted white version that discolored basically immediately and I stopped using it frequently 😅 (I also have the stealth black clear version, which is fingerprint haven).

I have heard that the Synthesis is better than the Flolab. The Synthesis is more premium in quality in terms of the buttons.

This is why I like the Sheath. No discoloration and no fingerprints. I don’t want to have to maintain a case. To me a set and forget case that’s more protection than the AS and TW.

I tried it and too slippery although it has the dot grip.

The lower half is very grippy, the upper half is not. You may (or may not) have to adjust the way you hold the phone to take advantage of the grip area. It took me just a short while to make the adjustment. YMMV.

Got the tinewol v2 today with Amazon. 10 out of 10. Not too thick or heavy.
Best case for me. Metal buttons, micro fiber lined, good texture for grip, small but there is a screen lip,need to test magnet strength soon.

I wasn’t impressed with the Surtect at all. I don’t like the feeling of the material used on the bumper all the way around at all. I haven’t tried a Synthesis because I just have a regular 17, but I’ll likely get one when I upgrade to an 18 Pro because I think that material looks like it will feel a lot better and the Caudabe frost looks nicer.
