That sure is a good-looking case, shame it has that kickstand on the back.
Is the frosting on the inside and outside both?
Not sure how to tell that but the Phone Rebel feels smooth on the outside and more textured on the inside while the Synthesis is reversed and feels more textured on the outside and smooth on the inside.

The Synthesis gets marked easier on the inside smooth part of the case but once the phone is in the case you can’t see the marks at all while the Phone Rebel gets marked easier on the outside of the case and is more resistant on the inside so you can see marks easier on the Phone Rebel.

The textured part is more resilient so Caudabe did it right by having the textured part on the outside vs on the inside like Phone Rebel.

It’s absolutely not, easy to tell have pics of yours?
You’re claiming I’m lying—fine, no problem! But is this YouTuber lying too? Would they really just 'spit' on their own reputation like that?

I don’t have my own photos because I didn’t keep any of those pieces of junk! In my opinion, this is Apple’s most unsuccessful case ever—even worse than that FineWoven disaster. That one was made of the most disgusting material, but at least the fit was perfect!

Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and can like whatever they want. 🙂

I'm curious whether use of the Spigen AluminaCore Tempered Glass Screen Protector (17 Pro) is compatible with most popular case these days (e.g. Caudabe Sheath; Apple TechWoven; Rebel, etc., etc.)? Any popular cases I'd need to leave off my candidates list if using this particular screen protector?

Is my Mous power button janky or are they all like this?
Kind of looks like a cut in the material around it 🤔

Of course they would, it’s all about views and clickbait. Yes sir, and your opinion doesn’t support the majority or the numbers which is ok.

Battle of the frosties: Synthesis wins over Phone Rebel imo.

I thought I could get past all the branding but it’s too much. I prefer the clean simplicity of the Synthesis over PR’s over engineered aesthetics. Also Synthesis has more grip than Phone Rebel which can feel a bit slippery.

The frost on the Synthesis is more resilient to marks and I like feeling the texture of the frost on the outside vs PR’s smooth feel on the outside.

Also not being forced into having the kick stand and the Synthesis is lighter than the PR which is always a win for me.

I’m back in the Tank after a break with the Nomad Rugged and Mous Limitless and I noticed - after swapping the buttons on the Tank twice now - getting the case off the phone and the buttons out the case gets easier every time. Which makes me worry a bit about the protection of the case if it softens a bit every time I have to wrangle it? I mean I welcome the easier removal, but I don’t want to trade it for less drop protection or more dust under the case.

Did anyone else notice that on their tank?

It’s could be the case softening a bit, but more likely just knowing the pressure points to get the case off. Tight fitting cases are easier to remove after a few times (except the paragon, that one is still a major PITA.)

A lot of people rate the Caudabe Synthesis case. If only it had a tighter fit though. The Paragon for example has a tighter fit compared to the Synthesis.

So, the Mous and Paragon are very similar, which has better drop protection 🤔 what ya think?
Mous, hands down. Paragon failed the face first drop test on Four-Eyed Tech Guy‘s channel. Mous cases have a higher lip around the display where the middle part slopes down like on the Paragon but still sits above the display, even with a screen protector. Also, the Mous scored better on MobileReviewsEh channel (Mous #3, Paragon #16).

I don’t have any complaints about the fit of the Synthesis, it’s a tight enough fit imo. (Side note the Phone Rebel Frosted has such a nice fit as well, imo slightly better than Synthesis but we already know all its other drawbacks this year)

Back to Caudabe, their cases are all great fitting cases whichever one you decide to get you can’t go wrong but Paragon is on a league of its own for sure so if compared to it then yes Paragon has a tighter fit than Synthesis but then Paragon has a tighter fit than most cases lol

Exacty!
I prefer cases with a very tight fit, where when you pull on the sides of the case, it doesn't move at all. The Paragon is one of the tightest fitting cases you can buy, but it is too slippery imo. I guess with cases, you to overlook certain things otherwise you will not like any case, as most cases with have a drawback or some kind!

If you’re in the EU, it’s currently discounted: https://share.google/5SnFC1mIkqwqszRmh

For that price, yeah, definitely.
Thanks. Ordered, but via Amazon because of 1-day delivery and I had an unused gift card there.

By the way, TechWoven is back in the store, exchanged it for a watch band since my old one was pretty worn out. Really no need to have TechWoven when slim Paragon is so good.

That Mous case better be perfect or I’ll have to force Mous support to make it “free” for me. 😈
