iPhone 17/e/Air/Pro/Pro Max Cases

I’m having a blast reading all these comments and the banter going along with it all. 😂

Question: I am having a hard time with cases for the 17PM. I have two: DB Tank and Alumu A17. I like them both, but want something different albeit protective and solid but still light. I’m leaning towards Paragon in Ember, but I worry about the back being too slick. What would you compare the slickness to? Like are we talking clear case slickness or does it have a bit more texture? Also, how’s the MagSafe?

TineeOwl V2 Dune Case on Amazon (US) for $25. Metal buttons, mild texture, microfiber lined, covered CC button, not too heavy or light, great protection. The best clicky buttons I have used, Better than Apple Silicone. 🙂 Worth a look IMHO.

Yea, maybe better than the Sheath. I need to dig this one out. Looks like much better screen protection than the Sheath.

Better? I was considering it for use during a trip later this year, but now I'm even more intrigued, at what, half the price of the Sheath? I'm not a case switcher, and having bought cases I've never ended up using in the past, the latter part appeals to me.

FWIW, I finally received my Amazon refund, but I had to initiate a chat to do so.

The status showed the date was being pushed out for what would have been the third time, and that wasn't going to fly with me.

Had to wait a bit for someone to join the chat, but when they did, they already knew what my issue was, and just automatically went straight to work…just like this was a common complaint.

Paragon is slick on the back much like a clear case. It works for me as the sides are very grippy. I've always used clear cases so this is not an issue for me and actually has more grip than the clear cases I've used. MagSafe on the Paragon is excellent.

I’ve gone back and forth with these. I think the sheath has more grip and a slimmer profile, but you are right, owl has more screen protection.

I had bezel showing on the top ~20% of the device in the marine blue Mous.
