I am 😶 it kept calling my nameYou back in TW Again 😁
Those camera improvements better be noticeable this timeLooking at this I wouldn't be so sure about that.
Yes. You’ll miss the bigger screen and battery. After using the iPhone X, I can never go back to a smaller iPhone. I’m a woman with small hands and 98% of the time do not carry a purse, and I still have no issues with carrying my 17PM and using comfortably.Moving from the Pro Max down to the regular Pro, will I be sorry?
Perhaps, but it is very dependent upon need and preference. I went from the 17PM to the Air and I have not had a single regret.Yes. You’ll miss the bigger screen and battery. Exactly my preference is pocket-ability. My work pants and casual pants have dedicated cell phone pockets and a Max won’t fit and/or feels like a brick.Perhaps, but it is very dependent upon need and preference. I went from the 17PM to the Air and I have not had a single regret.
Nice angles! 😊Inspired by @JBlass421 method for taking photos. Loving this combo!
For me the weight on my wrist is the problem. I’m a woman with no small hands, but my wrists suffered so much under the 15PM that I had to use a desk stand for a while because holding it made my whole hand ache. It felt like a brick in my hands and pockets. No more issues now with the 17 Pro. Especially since the batteries improved so much in two years, the battery life is better than it was on my 15PM. And I can absolutely live with the slightly smaller screen. And my husband who moved from my old 14 Pro to my 15PM is also complaining about the phone being to big and heavy and he does not have weak hand or wrists. He’ll be happy to get my 17 Pro when I hopefully upgrade next year 😉Yes. You’ll miss the bigger screen and battery. After using the iPhone X, I can never go back to a smaller iPhone. Not likely. They’re playing up the variable aperture but it’s a nothingburger. Those camera improvements better be noticeable this time
I handled a coworkers 17 base the other day and the weight was noticeably lighter in a “to my surprise” a Sheath. He took my reco lol . First Caudabe I’ve seen in the wild lol.For me the weight on my wrist is the problem. 17 pro will be similar weight as 15 max 😉 Tell him to Man up lolFor me the weight on my wrist is the problem. I agree, I used to return apple and other cases for the tiger stripe lolBluebonnet came in. It feels good! I hate the tiger stripes in the leather though. I don’t care about “character” in the grain lol I like me a one color case. I’ll rock it for a bit tho. Feels nice to be in leather again
What PSA exactly? That 2 different cases weigh different amounts?
Ha! I guess I was actually surprised by the difference between the TW (which has been the gold standard for me) and the Beats. But when compared to some of these other heavyweights the Beats is on the lower end. What PSA exactly? That 2 different cases weigh different amounts?
The Beats has a very good weight-to-protection ratio. I believe it does this by being thick around the edges but thin across the back. The Sheath stands out as having the worst weight-to-protection ratio. They had those issues with the MagSafe bulge a few years ago and have since beefed up the back, which probably explains the added weight.Ha! (As an aside, Siri AI really struggled to gather the correct information about these cases whereas ChatGPT was faster and more accurate).
- Apple TechWoven (~34 g)
- Apple Silicone (~35 g)
- Beats Rugged (~42 g)
- Caudabe Paragon (~49 g)
- Caudabe Sheath (~50–53 g, depending on revision)
- Nomad Rugged (~52 g)
What proof you have that the Beats has a very good weight to protection ratio? If I remember correctly when I handled the Beats in the store it was dimensional bigger than the Sheath but lighter in weight. The Beats was bulkier. The Beats has a very good weight-to-protection ratio. I believe it does this by being thick around the edges but thin across the back. Lots of anecdotal reports from various places on the internet. It’s pretty obvious when inspecting the cases as well, as you alluded to with your comment about the bulk at the edges. What proof you have that the Beats has a very good weight to protection ratio?
