Fair enough, but bulkier edges don’t automatically equal better protection.Lots of anecdotal reports from various places on the internet. It’s pretty obvious when inspecting the cases as well, as you alluded to with your comment about the bulk at the edges.
What case is that?Actually, patina is even more noticeable in this light. 🥰

And marketing jargon like “Proprietary ShockLite Material” (aka TPU) doesn’t magically make thinner cases more protective than thicker ones.Fair enough, but bulkier edges don’t automatically equal better protection.
Damn bro.And marketing jargon like “Proprietary ShockLite Material” (aka TPU) doesn’t magically make thinner cases more protective than thicker ones.
YMW from AliExpress. What case is that?
You're missing the point. My original comment was about the physical size in hand, the Beats is dimensionally larger and bulkier. Calling the Sheath’s material 'marketing jargon' doesn't change the physical reality that the Beats adds more actual footprint to the phone. I'd rather have a dense polymer that keeps the phone slim and still protective than a case that relies on hollow, bloated edge bulk that saves grams on a scale. And marketing jargon like “Proprietary ShockLite Material” (aka TPU) doesn’t magically make thinner cases more protective than thicker ones.
That’s cool. You like Caudabe, I don’t. I was a big fan from day one, turned on dozens of people to their cases. But IMO they’ve lost the plot in recent years. It’s hard to argue that a 50+ gram case is minimalist. That, and at least 50% of the cases I’ve purchased from them over the past 3 years were returned due to defects. You're missing the point. Super wide. Slick and grippy at the same time. Wish it was a more rubbery. I don’t think this will do it for me. Whoever said traffic cone orange; nailed it. Initially a “meh”

Depends what you’re trying to minimize. Saving grams on a scale or the actual physical dimensions? That’s cool. You like Caudabe, I don’t. … and after 5 minutes I’ve shaved the hair off my pinky with the charge port cutout hole. Wow. Incredibly sharp. Well, I’ve seen, I’ve tried. There definitely aren’t for me. Feels super light, I do think it would protect it in decent drop - but if the case is reason I drop it does it count? If it was a softer material/rubbee I would favor it drastically.
No CC is a deal breaker.I have a cheap AliExpress clone and it was real spongy rubber. It only has “dots” on back and not sides too; it’s ever so slightly slimmer on phone. I like the clone better than real one.

everything about clone js better. I wouldn’t call it hype (I don’t get hyped about any case these days). It’s just that if you want a heavy duty case for the Pro/Pro Max, the clean options are few and far between this year. Phone Rebel—floppy, dust catching top. UAG Monarch—no CC button, ridiculously overpriced. Nomad Rugged—pretty nice, probably the other good option, but very thick front to back. Torras—no, for many reasons. Otterbox Defender—these are now overpriced junk. Peak Design Gnar—insufficient lip. Mous Limitless—floppy around the CC button. And so on. Among the beefy cases, the Beats, while not perfect, seems to check more boxes than most. If someone has a recommendation for a HD case that is better, I’m all ears. That’s fair, buteverything about clone js better.
Sorry, I just can’t get behind Beats hype. Definitely not the worst $20 case I’ve ever bought but I’d be perturbed at $50 or whatever retail is.
Are both sharp for your little finger. That is the very reason I gave up on Black one.… and after 5 minutes I’ve shaved the hair off my pinky with the charge port cutout hole. Wow. Incredibly sharp. It’ll be the same. I’m fortunate in that my pinky doesn’t sit directly over the charge port so it’s a non-issue for me. I can see how it could be a deal breaker if I held the phone differently. Are both sharp for your little finger. That is the very I gave up on Black one.
Orange will be here this weekend and if its sharp as black. I'll probably sell it instead of returning it.

What else can it blow?Picked up this little blower at Wally World over the weekend and I'm pretty impressed with it.
Great for blowing out your phone cases, phones, camera lenses, keyboards ETC. Really well built and a pretty cool little gadget.
