With the rumors of price increases and underwhelming upgrades and new features, why would anyone look to upgrade their 17's?
My wife has finally opened up to the idea of upgrading away from my old 13 Pro so I may be passing the 17 Pro to her and deciding between an 18 Pro and an Air 2. I’d like a bigger screen but the Max just seems like overkill, especially after a year with the smaller device.

If this does happen I’ll likely be going Bullstrap again since that’s what’s currently in use. It’ll be a one-and-done year FOR SURE this time…

There is no better case than TW this year. If you don’t get that then either you are delusional or a rich person. Im neither and yet I ended up spending good few quids on cases this year. Moral of the story learn from your mistakes and do not repeat them until September 2026.

In your opinion, of course.

While I like the TW just fine (and have a black one), I prefer either my Caudabe Paragon precise or the Rebel.

I have zero plans to upgrade to the 18 PM, even though I feel like the 17 Pro is smaller than I’d like. But if the Air 2 is coming in the spring of ā€˜27 and makes some changes (ultra wide 2nd camera, 2nd speaker, keeps the titanium build), then I’ll probably switch from the 17 Pro to it.

I like the TW a lot. I just wish it was not so loose on the phone. I can literally take mine off with one hand—it’s ridiculous. Many of Apple cases have been like this over the years.

I call the shots in here fella.

Joking LoL.

Paragon is a solid case and it gets used now and then. Currently my mrs is using the spare one I had and she loves it.

Rebel this year is trash. Pure filth. Cheap over the top nasty looking stuff.

My collection is perfect. Tight-fitting all around.
Tim Apple is looking out for you. I, on the other hand, am chopped liver. I’ve had three (only two now), and they’ve all been silly loose to the point that I might as well go caseless because there’s no way they’re going to protect the phone in a face down drop.

Karma brother. You chose Air over Pros.

Pro Gods not happy with you lol.

The bad thing is, I love how the Rebel feels in the hand, but that metal camera surround (or rather, the screws on the backside) make me nervous as heck. One drop in the wrong spot and bam.

For that reason, I don’t use it very much. But I do love the feel of it.

I’ve always loved the Sheath, but I’m spoiled by those sides and how they dip down on the Paragon. I wish Caudabe would make a Sheath with the sides like that. But I’m assuming the material used would be too thin and pull away too easily.
