I can check for you tomorrow. My partner is using Benks Matte version on her 17 Pro. Will post pics.

Hi guys!

Is it better to use full coverage screen protector that has mesh grill for the top speaker or the open cut out? Worried that the open cut out might accumulate a lot of dust inside the top speaker

No. Screen clarity is pretty good.

I also love how screen protector shows no finger prints.

Will definitely get these next time unless Torras come out with matt version.

Guys,
Now we are in April and the 17 Pro Max has been out for months now, what would you say is the best screen protector for the 17 Pro Max?
 
Been using the benks matte since launch but it started coming away just under the speaker at the top of the phone.

So replaced it and exact same thing. So far I’ve applied four screen protectors and they keep not sticking in that same place.

Any ideas what the issue could be?
 
I've opted to try the Benks Glass Sapphire wotsitcalled, non matte version over another Origarmor.

Hopefully no screen intrusion
 
Very nice install with the Benks.

No screen cut in from black borders. Held phone in the sun and AR seems good (as if working though the protector as this protector doesn’t have it. Definitely no obvious reduction compared to Origarmour. See how it holds up
 
I just swapped out my skin for spring/summer, and replaced the Torras since the scratches were getting too much and the oleophobic was lacking

The new one seems to have worse coverage? I used the alignment tool wrongly but there's a slight gap to the top-end

Maybe i'm losing my mind or they've shaved off a few millimetres of glass

I don't have the camera image to check the borders sadly

I also seem to be much more aware of the black borders compared to the one i bought around iPhone launch

I think i may forgo black bordered protectors altogether next cycle and take my chances with the rainbow effect

You may have gotten the Origarmor “Lite” by mistake instead of the regular one. The Lite is smaller than the original.
