This is something I'm following closely. If there is really an X80 in there with the new antenna system that would be extremely useful for me in spotty reception areas
Qualcomm’s X80 is good but Apple’s C2 modem will be better next year probably!

Let’s hope! The rumor mill is making it sound like that will be the only option going forward after this year.
The 17 Pro Series will probably be the last Qualcomm iPhone 📱
Apple 🍎 claims that their new C1X modem is 2X faster than the C1 and faster than the x71 modem in the iPhone 16, so I know Apple will claim next year that the C2 is faster than the 17 modem.

Really hoping for x80. None of the reviews have mentioned it yet
Mrwhosetheboss review comes the closest, huge speed and low signal performance increases over the 16 Pro. Whether that’s the aerial, modem or combo of both it’s looking pretty good

Probably not. The Silicone battery 🔋 was only meant for the iPhone Air because it is so razor 🪒 thin. The Pro Max will always get the biggest battery 🔋 and the 5,000mAh battery in the 17 pro model is more than enough battery juice. Get a Apple 🍎 battery MagSafe pack if you need more juice.
If that’s true then it’s the X80 that’s in the new 17 Pro, but we still have to wait for the official tear-down to really find out.

Considering no one with a review unit will be ripping it apart, at least 24 hours or so after it’s released to the general public
It’s already been confirmed that Apple’s N1 WiFi 7 custom chip is not 320mhz.
Looked at Mrwhosetheboss video on YouTube and I think it’s a Very Strong chance that the new iPhone 17 Pro has the Qualcomm X80 modem in it. Here is the video for you guys to see:

Using last year as an example, the phones released on September 20. iFixit had their full teardown posted on September 26.
I don‘t know if this is reliable, but according to this teardown X80 is confirmed

This is information I’m also interested in. In the past Apple has used the same modem across all models so I’m hopeful that it’ll also be in the base 17.
Probably the X71 again or the X75 in the base 17. Apple 🍎 will save money at all costs with Qualcomm.
Apple 🍎 is using a mix of their own custom C1/C1X modems, Mediatek 5G redcap modem for the Watch and Qualcomm modems this year across phone and watch lineups.
