Only on the Pro's? 🤔 I mean I know for Air they have their own. But 17 base? When Shrimp 🍤 says something you know it’s true. X80 confirmed for the iPhone 17 Pro’s ya’ll 😉
That was the models this particular account looked at, the Pros. So we don’t know yet for base.Only on the Pro's? 🤔 I mean I know for Air they have their own. But 17 base?
I would get the Pro to be on the safe side. No telling with Apple 🍎 and their budget cuts.Only on the Pro's? 🤔 I mean I know for Air they have their own. But 17 base?

Qualcomm charges a ton for their Modems, hence why Apple 🍎 wants to get away from them. If Apple 🍎 uses a older generation Qualcomm modem instead of the latest modem then they can obviously save some money 💴 Apple knows that the majority of their customers don’t buy the iPhone for the modem.🍎🤔💸✂️❓👉 Are we talking cheaper parts ⚙️🧩🔩⬇️ for iPhones 📱📱, or company-wide cuts 🏢🧑💼🧾📉🪓❓
That’s total speculation and opinion from you though right?Probably the X71 again or the X75 in the base 17. Apple 🍎 will save money at all costs with Qualcomm.
Yes its my thoughts but I could be wrong. If you don’t want to wait for the tear-down then the safe bet is to get the X80 in the iPhone Pro Models. Shrimpapplepro 🍤 confirmed that the X80 is indeed in the iPhone Pro Models. 📱That’s total speculation and opinion from you though right?
I would not be surprised if they also use X80 in the base. They have been very generous to the base this year lol.Yes its my thoughts but I could be wrong. Also if the rumours are true the base is here until around march/april 2027 so they may want to make sure it’s not outdated by thenI would not be surprised if they also use X80 in the base. They have been very generous to the base this year lol.
And what will you do if they don’t? X80 in the Pro or C1X in the Air?I would not be surprised if they also use X80 in the base. They have been very generous to the base this year lol.
much faster speeds and connectivity but it's still not the latest X85whats the benefit of x80 vs x71?
Haven’t seen any direct comparisons published yetHow does the C1X compare to the x80?
Looking forward to this comparisonHaven’t seen any direct comparisons published yet

I’m curious to see how much difference the antenna system in the pro makesIn a comment in that Reddit thread, somebody said it is also on the 17. Here’s their comment:
“17 also has X80 modem. Source yang.ycs instagram”
I don’t have instagram so I’m unable to look at this myself. But if it’s true, I’m glad that the 17 is also getting the X80. Apple really went all out on the 17, for being the base model it is really good.
Are any phones actually using X85 yet?much faster speeds and connectivity but it's still not the latest X85
Peak speeds go from 4.4Gb/s to 10Gb/s. Newer modems have more carrier aggregation and give users access to omre bandwidth at a time. Which is better for speeds and also performance in crowded areas.whats the benefit of x80 vs x71?
