this is baffling, especially since one color, pumpkin spice, is very seasonal.

Unless they're shooting for a 'second bump' of sales in the spring by releasing additional colors.

Or they just gave up because most people put cases on them and hide the phone color anyway.

I like the orange Pro and will likely get it. I wish that their clear case did not have the terrible looking white area for the MagSafe, otherwise I would buy that case.

I always have a case on mine anyway.
Hardly even know what color it is.

Classic Apple move to try to push Pro buyers to the Air, which has all the usual Pro colors.

The Pro phones look significantly less premium this year, but I guess that's the Air's territory now. Can't have all of them looking good.

I'm rocking a Natural Titanium Ultra 1 and an iPhone 15 Pro Max in Natural Titanium - I always prefer when both colors are matching. With the new lineup that option is gone 😶 I wanted to go for a 17 Pro Max and an AWU3 in black. Besides from that, AWU3 is a complete letdown this year so I guess I am saving some money this year!

I have always had a black when that was an option, or the space grey. But, I have not been pleased with the wear performance on my 16 Pro (and finally broke a screen in all my years of iPhones), so this year I will be grabbing a case. The blue should look fine in a black case. I also just pulled the trigger on an AWU3 in black to replace my S6 in black.

cosmic orange is... cosmic.

I think it looks great.

And I suspect that in person the blue black looks more black than blue.

Orange is my favorite color. Been waiting for a Pro in orange for years. Cant wait!

Dark/black is what makes smartphone professional for me, colored ones must be the option for only budget phones

Oddly, that orange is pretty close (close enough) to one of my favorite shades of orange, yet I don't really know if I want a phone in that color. Might just go with the navy.

Why the hell are they pushing this model as a replacement for professional cameras and then they don't make a black option? Most professional photographers and videographers don't want their gear to be attracting attention, especially in candid and street shoots. What professional camera isn't available in black or dark gray? I had my Apple Card ready to go to buy on day 1, but I'll wait 6 months to see if they finally release a black or at least a space gray version, otherwise I'll wait until next year.

The problem isn’t just the limited or terrible color options, but also the fact that the cheaper iPhone Air model uses more premium materials, while the most expensive and always “top of the line” Pro models end up using the same materials as the entry model.

This years pro models are simply hideous. This is the first time I’m saying this since iPhone 6. The new Pro design reminds me of the iPhone 6, which is the model I like the least in terms of design—especially with those cheap plastic antenna lines used all over it.

Apple always making sure to put a sh*tty compromise in whatever models they release, pro or not. Gotta give customers an annoyance incentive to upgrade in the next few years right? 🙄

How the f*ck do you not release the 2 most popular colors for the pro models? black and natural titanium 🤦🏻‍♂️
