I’d hope it was…but who knows… 🤷♂️Coincidence? I think not.

I clearly remember the Alpine Green 13 Pro. But I don't remember people complaining about the new color coming out? Did people feel cheated?I can guarantee you that the vast majority of those who wanted black and got the dark blue instead won’t get the black 17 Pro/17 Pro Max if it materializes early next year. They will be disappointed in Apple for pulling such a stunt once again (March 2022 release of the 13 Pro in Alpine Green).
The orange 17 Pro, also called The Donald Trump version.Imagine launching a pro phone in the same colour as the president.. 🤦♂️
Some people complained here.I clearly remember the Alpine Green 13 Pro. But I don't remember people complaining about the new color coming out? Did people feel cheated?
Yep. Was also hoping for matching Airpods in black. It is sad that they promote their products to a very diverse worldwide market without offering more colors. That glass cutout on the back makes it look like the magsafe battery pack is permanently attached.
Good combo. However, using a case on the orange or blue would pretty much ruin the ability to truly appreciate the coloring, in my opinion. If you get orange, you need to go naked.Every iPhone I've owned since the 3G has been black. I'm considering getting the orange - with a black case.
The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are available in just three color options, notably with no black option.

The new high-end models are available in Silver, Cosmic Orange, and Deep Blue. Orange is a new addition to the Pro lineup, while blue returns from the iPhone 15 Pro.
Natural, Desert, and Black have not been carried over, making this year's selection of color options the smallest since the iPhone XS, which was just available in Silver, Space Gray, and Gold. This also marks the first time Apple's high-end iPhones have not been available with a black or dark gray color option in any way.
Pre-orders start Friday, September 12, ahead of deliveries to customers and in-store availability beginning Friday, September 19.

I did, yes.I guess you forgot the March 2022 release of the 13 Pro in Alpine Green.
I think that dark steel blue looks very professional to me. It’s not flashy at all. It can easily replace the black. It is a strange decision as black is a professional and standard colour tone.
I'm not in the market for an iPhone this year as I have a Natural Titanium iPhone 16 Pro Max. I would probably get the silver if I was, as it looks like the nicest of the three to me. My wife is getting the Silver to replace her 14 Pro. I had a blue iPhone 12 back when that was released and wished I had gone with the black, so blue isn't really for me again.I think that dark steel blue looks very professional to me. It’s not flashy at all. It can easily replace the black.
Seriously, people complaining about the lack of black , just get the blue. I usually always go for black as well, and this time went for blue for the first time for my 15Pro. It looks stunning and I’m glad I did it. It looks both elegant and “professional “.
Uh, the original iPhone was black. The first all black iPod only took 4 years (iPod nano, the U2 version was black a year earlier but had a red scroll wheel). The first iPad was black too.I find it odd that they didn’t include black as an option, but then Steve’s favorite color was white and it took him years to even add black in the first place. Now while I’m not a fan of the cosmic orange color, I’m not sure if it still is, but burnt orange at least use to be a somewhat of a popular color for cars, so maybe they’re on to something. As for the overall design though, it’s interesting. Not necessarily would that camera plateau have been my first choice (if I was CEO), but I do like it better than Google Pixel’s and it does get the job done. I’m just glad though they didn’t change the camera design layout in the base model, but then they didn’t add all the stuff they did to the pro model and so it makes sense.
Orange is the new black.Every iPhone I've owned since the 3G has been black. I'm considering getting the orange - with a black case.
Along with the most ugliest iPhone design ever. FUGLY.I’ve gotta be honest, I think that’s the ugliest iPhone color Apple’s ever come out with. Just… awful.
