Yeah, I would like to fold my tablet in half and put it in my pocket with my phone, oh wait…folding phones make barely any sense.
folding tablets however...that I can see.

With the hideous UI change in iOS 26, I am no longer a fan of the direction the iPhone is going. The Pixel might be something I take a look at.
However, I mentioned this to my wife and she said “You made a solemn vow when we got married that we will not be a green bubble family!”… so no Pixel for me 🤣
So they are copying Apple with boring updates?! How dare they! It’s a pixel 9 pro with MagSafe, that’s it. At least Samsung fold is thinner and new design
it never was ever since Google stole iPhone's interfaceIt's sad to see that Apple is no longer the brand that pushes the mobile design forward.
Seems like a very boring year for the Pixel.
We'd still have dogpoop cameras on our phones if it wasn't for the Pixel 1 and Pixel 2 forcing Apple and Samsung to improve.it never was ever since Google stole iPhone's interface
Well get ready, because that same wart is coming to the 17 in less than a month. That camera wart on the 10/Pro is really ugly.
which doesn't make sense since small tablets are portable enough already. what makes sense is to be able to carry something like a small tablet to unfold into a giant workspace.Isn't the idea of a folding phone (one that opens like a book) that it's basically a phone that can become a small tablet?
phone -> small tabletThe fact that it opens up, makes it a tablet.
I am wholly in the apple ecosystem (for a variety of reasons), but I also had a Fold Z, and I loved opening it up, and reading, and working on it.
you can carry a 27 inch laptop in your backpack? nah.Folding tablet you cannot carry it almost everywhere, is like a laptop
27 inch tablet in your pocket? did you invent new physics? hilarious.Yeah, I would like to fold my tablet in half and put it in my pocket with my phone, oh wait…
Except that people are actually buying foldables and they're becoming more popular. The Mini went down each year and then was discontinued. When Apple launches its foldable next year everyone will suddenly be on the bandwagon and it'll be touted as the best iPhone ever.In what way? A folding phone that few will likely buy, with an ugly crease in the screen, just to say “look we are doing something”? Remember all the people claiming they wanted an iPhone mini, but then didn’t actually buy one?
Yup, they even added a Journal app...wonder where they got that idea from.So they are copying Apple with boring updates?! How dare they!
