I keep reading that the "genius" feature is now on my itunes on the phone... where... I don't see it anywhere. Thanks.

well it's been since about 8 Friday that I last charged this thing. I've been using it much more heavily than normal, just to see what happens. Day 3, still have 1/3rd charge. Nice.
Well, considering that the internet, especially forums, is not the place to come and hope for good punctuation/grammatically correct sentences.
Do you have an iPhone 3G or the 1st Gen?
Is anyone else noticing signficant battery life? I would never before keep my phone in 3G mode because my battery would drain in about a day.
I've been in 3G mode for 24 hours now and I still have more than 1/2 my battery left!
This was debunked some time ago."Building a Toyota Prius causes more environmental damage than a Hummer that is on the road for three times longer than a Prius. As already noted, the Prius is partly driven by a battery which contains nickel. The nickel is mined and smelted at a plant in Sudbury, Ontario. This plant has caused so much environmental damage to the surrounding environment that NASA has used the dead zone around the plant to test moon rovers. The area around the plant is devoid of any life for miles."
How the hell do you turn off the repeat SMS alert?
You can't. Sorry
America was
I think the Native Americans might disagree with your assessment.
America was conquered, not discovered. But as a Cherokee, I will take my iphone over a tomahawk anyday. I love technology.
Your wrong. Tribes fought, on every continent, but annihilation is the wrong word. The Cherokee nation didn't wipe out all other tribes. And the Cherokee Nation wasn't violent, were they? Constantly at war with other tribes over land, resources, etc? Completely annihilated the existing native peoples in North America millenia before the Europeans came, correct?
It's just that the English/French tribes had better weapons and tactics.
Now back to the iPhone discussion...can we use an iPhone as a tomahawk?
well.. whenenver I had 3G on the battery wolud only last for a day: unplug in the morning.. use it during the day and it was dead late at night when at home.
then I decided to keep 3G off while not using Safari.. it improved quite a bit.. fro 1 to 2 days.
then updated to 2.1: turned on 3G on saturday morning.. and the batttery didn't even last a whole day.. half way thru saturday I had to plug it in.
So, I guess i'm in the other few users who won't see significant improvement. Bummer..
After reading all the threads, I skipped on updating to 2.02 until 2.1 came out. I did download it but never installed it.
Now iTunes wants me to update to 2.02 before I can seemingly get to 2.1.
Does anyone know if I delete the 2.02 update from the Iphone Software Update folder, restart itunes, will it go out and get the 2.1 update?
Or, is it necessary to update to 2.02 prior to 2.1?
Thanks.
