iPhone 2.2 Firmware 10 Days Away?

Thought this was just a fluke with mine. I second that. I liked going to a Software Publishers website and clicking a link that took me to the app in the app store.

Who cares, as others have said, give us copy/paste, to-dos, note syncing, etc. Apple's got some screwed up priorities.
They probably integrate note-syncing when 10.6 comes out and sell it as an OS feature... :rolleyes:
 
It seems like the stuff we want most is purposely being left out and the stuff we don't want at all is being added... what the heck?

Maybe we all should start screaming for useless things like:

"Come on Apple and update the Clock app!"

Actually, I would love to be able to set one of my songs fron the ipod library as a alarm instead of picking one of the ringtone sounds :eek:

But essentially, anything they don't want to implement is a bag of hurt.
 
I want only two things that has to be there from very beginning To Do list and copy and paste.

I have no idea why To do's not there it's such a simple application, yes you can download a bunch of to dos from ap store, but u cant sync them ..
 
I have a question: Why the heck is this thread called "iPhone 2.2 Firmware 10 Days Away?" when you know that the day after the thread is created, the title would be wrong because then it would be 9 days away. Why not just name the thread "iPhone 2.2 Firmware on Nov. 21st?"
 
It's been said before, and I'm going to say it again. It's not like Apple's being an annoying sibling refusing to give back C/P, if they're waiting on it it's for a good reason. Garaunteed. I thought that the ipod touch firmware update costs like $15? This is my first update, but I seem to remember people moaning about that... but it seems to be updating fine for me, no cost whatsoever.
 
2.2 Bricked my phone

well its official.... the upgrade ****ed up my phone so bad that even the tech geks at the Apple store are clueless.... Phone less than 2 month old... now nothing but a paper weight.... BASTARDS!

It's pretty awesome, worth the wait. But apple does need to add more features that we need to the next firmware.

There doing it to the refurb. ipod touch its messed up im gona spend $200 on an ipod and a case and they cant give me a $10 software upgrade it just messed up.:mad:
 
I just have two things on my wishlist for v2.3.

Thats for it to work with WPA2, and to be compatible with a wider range of USB adapters so it will actually be recognized on some computers.
