Anyways, it's installing right now on my 3G. Does e-mail now support landscape mode? Did I read that right? I have to admit, in wanting to update it so badly, I jumped over the actual changes/additions... haha

+1 street view is VERY fast

blackberrys can do street view through the google maps app they have, but it looks nothing like this (friend has one and I've used it)

are you sure we have the same street view?

It's the public transit part I'm excited about.

When you tap on the arrow in street view, you get some weird gray ground and blue sky screen. Is this already a bug?

And my street view is incredibly sluggish and I'm in an area where my Safari always runs fast. Do we need to use it in Wi-fi?

either hold in the home button and click the power button, or hold in the power button and click the home button....you'll see a white flash and the screenshot is added to your camera roll

street view is quick in that the interface responds quickly to touches, etc. the speed of rendering obviously depends on your signal strength and whether you're on edge, 3g, or wifi.
