iPhone 3G - already with pictures ! (aka "iPhone Girl")

Having been in the Industrial Automation field for many years, I can tell you that in all that time (25+ years), I have NEVER seen a MAC. Why? Easy, the MAC OS never did lend itself to real-time operation, plus the developers of the applications put their efforts into the major platform, i.e., Windows, for which they received much assistance (technical, mostly), whereas Apple never did seem to care about that market.

And now, even though OSx is a suitable platform, the decisions have already been made; the developers aren't going to bother going through all the effort to port their applications to OSx because quite frankly, the owners of these factories are focused on cost, and aren't going to spend more just to please a bunch of Apple fanboys. Higher cost, lower market penetration, hell, it's just not worth the effort.

lol gettin a little jelous are we? why dont u cut the girl some slack it's probably all the excitement they can get there
 
I heard this on the news this morning and was surprised because a co-worker bought a brand new 3G iPhone in NYC a couple weeks back and his phone had someone's iTune account already on it... We tracked down the woman who it belonged to with searches and myspace and found out she had an older iPhone stolen months ago... his was a new 3G... We contacted Apple PR and they are trying to get him to send the phone to them in California, he is willing to send it but wants a replacement phone first... the guy he's been speaking to was trying to get permission to send it first...

This website, this thread, and the "She's soooo fired" quote all made "Morning Edition" on NPR this morning.
 
Perhaps everyone on this thread should take 2 minutes to email Apple, just to ask them to ensure that the girl is ok and hasn't lost her job.


Personally, I'd be delighted to find pictures like that on my phone.

Freedom of speech is being able to speak freely without censorship. The right to freedom of speech is recognised as human right in under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognised in international human rights law under Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). The ICCPR recognises the right to freedom of speech as "the right to hold opinions without interference. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression".

This is what makes this country great my friend ! Be like water !

^^^^ Priceless^^^^^ I do hate apple also "computers only" , but I love the iPhone + iPods :D

PS: I also hate the damn itunes, syncing etc. why they just don't do a media folder on the ipods or iphones so you can drag and drop more easily. :D

Not sure what country you're in, so I'll not comment on that. However, this is a private forum so the mods have the right to delete whatever they like if it breaks the forum rules, notwithstanding any rights you have elsewhere.
 
already been confirmed that she will not be fired or anything. Shes been given some time off to cope with the fact that she became and internet celeb over night.
