LIES

See I don't think they have to activate the app store in the US though when the New Zealand one drops. The beta firmware I saw says "The app store is not supported in this country" when you try to connect currently. Meaning they can activate it country by country if they so chose to do so.

So in that video it looked like there were 10 per box and 8 boxes... 80 iPhones on that dolly. Wonder if that is typical?

I might have to go early after all.

mobileme - more modern than ie

I love how mobileme will be seemingly more modern than what IE7 can handle (poor windows users!).

On this page: http://www.apple.com/mobileme/migrating , at the bottom.

"* Internet Explorer 7 not fully supported. IE7 has known compatibility issues with modern web standards which affect web 2.0 applications such as MobileMe. You can use IE7, but you will not have access to all MobileMe features and will experience slower performance."

:)

Gotta love Apple's constant Microsoft bashing. It's actually one of the many things that makes me love Apple.

Im thinking we're gonna see itunes 7.7 and the mobileme update first (tonight ), then the 2.0 software update on late friday/ early saturday. That way, people with the 3G iphone can activate/use their new phone with Itunes 7.7, and they can offload the 2.0 firmware onto EDGE iphones after launch. This adds a little bonus for new 3G'ers ;) and cuts down on bandwidth use for the 3G launch!
