It just worked. I've been trying all day. Finally just got it to add to cart. It moved a lot faster (I think things are shaping up). As soon as I added to cart, and was checking out, my session expired. However, the iPhone 4 still remained in my cart and I was able to check out successfully. Delivery on June 24!
Good luck, all.
did you receive a conformation email from them?
From experience, confirmation emails during peak time do not come until several hours later. I expect one to come within the next 24 hours. I screenshot my final order and recorded my order number in case I need to follow-up.did you receive a conformation email from them?
Question.
I "Reserved" mine via the Apple Store App but got one of those crazy $599 prices AND I'm only one of the "Family Members" on an AT&T Family Plan. Which means I'm not the primary on the account. I used the primary's SS# last four when I "Reserved". When I go to the Apple store on the 24th will the primary need to be present for me to receive my phone or can I get it without the primary? I also hope that the price issue isn't a problem come June 24th.
I'm in shock now.Went by my local Best Buy and the phone sales guy said they'd recently received word that the white iPhones wouldn't be available until mid-August. The sales guy said he had to call several people who had pre-ordered under the assumption of getting the white one to deliver the bad news.
Hello.
A quick "buyer beware" if you "reserved" an iPhone for store pickup. After calling and speaking to multiple reps, this reservation does *not* guarentee you one on launch day (it's in the fine print). How it actually works: there will be two lines, reserved vs non-reserved. If you made a reservation, someone that didn't will not get it over you. However, if they run out of iPhones before you cone up in line- you go on the backorder list. As I was told, the reservation list will be larger than the available quantity, as they have no way to control what the stores will truly receive. This is why the reservation confirmation states that the phones are still first-come, first-served.
Alot of you probably know this, but for those that reserved one with plans of walking in 1 hour before close to grab yours, well, that might not work.
The primary will need to be present because a 2-yr contract renewal will need to be approved by the primary. The price issue most likely will not be a problem, but if AT&T already reset your 2-yr contract as a result of the upgrade, it will help you if you have evidence that you are/were eligible. (screenshots, etc.)
Is this verified? That the primary account holder MUST be present? That will be quite difficult for me. Considering I already have the account holders last four of SSN, what is the actual reason for them being present?
I just received my confirmation email from Apple for confirmed delivery on June 24.
~ 2 hours after placing my online order.
Analysts don't buy stock actually... and yes of course it's up (which is why it is a good time to sell), wait for the numbers. People see demand.. I see fail.
My reservation confirmation says nothing about first come first served...
