I friend of mine asked me to take some close up shots of the camera cut out on the PS protectors before he bought them. I figured you guys might want to see some more pictures as well.

Oh and click on em if you'd like to see the full size.

Did you put the retro logo on top of the protector or under it?

On topic: Great writeup and made me buy one ;).

I'm having a ton of trouble with their customer service. I've sent two e-mails and a phone call over the course of 3 or 4 weeks with no solution. I'm on the phone with them now so we'll see what happens.

Absolutely love the Crystal Power Support protectors

I consider myself pretty anal when it comes to my electronics. And though many have questioned the need for any screen protection for the Apple products, I disagree. I had been extremely careful with both my iPhone and iPad keeping both in cases and only wiping clean with iKlear and microfiber cloths. Even with all this babying, I could see some very light surface scratches and the constant wiping of fingerprints was annoying. So I went in search of the perfect screen protector. I tried Zagg Invisible Shield and hated it - had it installed at the mall kiosk so the finish was as perfect as could be but couldn't take the sticky screen feel along with some light red lines showing on the film. I then purchased the Power Support both anti-glare and Crystal. I first put on the anti-glare and it was very good as far as the anti-glare properties along with much less fingerprints. What was disappointing was the reduction in screen clarity as is usual with anti-glare. I was expecting less fuzziness. For those that really need the anti-glare I would still recommend Power Support. I ended up taking off the anti-glare and installed the Crystal screen protector. I couldn't be happier. The screen quality is superb and the tactile feel of the screen and swiping motion is as good as a naked screen - better as it is now also protected. Another bonus that I didn't expect is way less wiping of fingerprints. I highly recommend trying this Crystal one first and you won't need to try another. Awesome!

Are you saying that the Crystal is resisting fingerprints almost as well as the Anti-Glare?

yeah im thinking of getting this protector over the SGP oleo. people been saying after a month of use; the screen protector was getting harder to wipe off finger prints

Just installed crystals front and back. I have a tiny bubble around the front facing camera. Couldn't get it out no matter how hard I tried. Maybe it'll dissolve on it's own. How long do PS screen protectors usually last? Just wondering whether I should order a second set just in case.

My PS Crystal Review

I did a bunch of searching, found this thread, and bought the Power Support Cyrstal + Smoke + Back films about 2 weeks ago. I'm posting back in gratitude to the forum, thread, OP etc., as I this is a great film set.

Purchase
I bought mine off of eBay. It was a retail kit, that included instructions, 2 pre-installation films, the front Crystal, front Anti-Glare, and rear protective films. I paid either $25 or $26, with free shipping. This was a better deal than purchasing directly from Power Support.

Fit/Feel:
Fit and feel are great. The crystal films are, to my eyes, completely transparent. My friends cannot tell I have films on the phone. Yes, you get some fingerprinting, but I don't think it is much worse than without the film, and they easily wipe off using a microfiber cloth or even the soft cotton of one of my t-shirts. NO bubbles after completing the install.

Installation:
This is the first time I've installed protective films, and I'm really anal about this stuff, so it took me about 30 minutes (20 for the back, which I did first, 10 for the front).

I used a lint roller to clean my micro fiber cloths, used the micro fiber cloths to clean off the side I was working on, and then used the pre-installation film (these are specifically to remove any remaining dust particles, micro fibers/hairs, finger prints).

I installed the back in film while in my office, which is relatively low in dust, and installed the front in the bathroom with the shower running. IN BOTH CASES I HAD BUBBLES DURING THE INSTALL, WHICH I WAS ABLE TO REMOVE.

Bubble Removal:
The vast majority of the bubbles I got were due to either super tiny hairs or dust particles that had been floating in the air (despite the shower), and had gotten between the film and the phone, AFTER I had cleaned the phone and used the pre-installation film. Removing the particles got rid of the bubbles. To do so, I had a piece of tape attached to the back of the film (to peel it back), and another piece of tape I had taped onto itself to create a circle (to remove particles from the film or back of the phone. I put my index finger in the middle of the tape circle, would peel back the film using the piece of tape I attached to it, and use the tape circle to touch/pad the area where the bubble was. I probably had to do this 8-10 times for both the back and front film applications. However, once I had removed all the remaining particles, the film would adhere without ANY bubbling.

I did have slight bubbling remaining around the front and back camera cutouts. To remove the front bubble, I pressed on it with the flat side of the fingernail on my index finger, perhaps running it across the bubble a few times. Note this was not the edge of my nail (the part you trim), but the flat side, as I did not want to create a permanent mark on my beautiful new film. On the rear camera, I think it was a bit more resistant to the fingernail method, but adding a tiny drop of water helped it adhere.

My films are currently 100% bubble free after 2+ weeks of use.

Bumper:
After looking at the available bumpers, I'm going to order the Apple one, as it appears it will not cause the Power Support films to pee.

Thanks again to Albert for the initial great review, and everyone else who's posted their impressions, as I'm really happy with these Power Support films.

Great Review and great tips at removing the bubbles!!

I wonder though if somehow the tape and little amount of water you used helps the film adhere better?

Are you saying that the Crystal is resisting fingerprints almost as well as the Anti-Glare?

I have only had the Power Support Crystal on for a few days. At this point I'm seeing much less fingerprints than the naked screen. The Crystal isn't as fingerprint resistant as the anti-glare but still very good. Hopefully this feature isn't one that diminishes with time. I'll post back again in a few weeks. At this point I'm totally thrilled.

Opinion on putting on screen protector for white iPhone 4 - Quick Summary: WAY harder than black iphone 4

I just picked up a white OEM casing from iResq and the back did come with the diffuser in place and all the EMI shielding and gaskets seem much more similar than the ebay ones, if you take a look, they do not have any lining/gaskets for the areas that the back plate is directly facing the pcb.

I wanted to respond to putting on the rear screen protector for the white door. HOLY CRAP, was it difficult, I felt that I was going in blind, if anyone has put the clear on white, it is impossible to see on the glass rear door. I have no clue how hard it will be when I put on the front white digitizer for my wife.

If you thought black was hard to get perfect, you are going to find that putting the screen protector on the white to be at least twice as hard, since it's glass and you have very little angle to shine a light to be able to line up the clear screen protector with the border of the glass.

While waiting for these to become available, I had a casemate protector on then a protector that came with a switcheasy case. Both were not good. On an angle you could see a sort of rainbow effect. Very badly.
Ordered my PS Crystal on eBay. Easy to install and can't even see it on the phone. It also does not attract nearly as many fingerprints as the other two screen protectors. Worth the price.

Does the power support screen protectors come with warranty? I have a ring of bubbles around my facetime camera, one of the corners isn't going down, and on the back there is a ring of bubbles around the flash. Does power support have good customer support?

Yes.

I received mine on Saturday. I needed quite a few tries getting it both lined up and lint free at the same time. Once I did, there were still two very small "bubble" spots left were at the edge of the front camera and Home button. I tried pressing them out with a microfiiber cloth, but they kept returning. I then tried the back of the fingernail method. It worked like a charm. The feel of swiping over it is much better than the naked glass. This is more apparent when you have freshly washed hands (the naked glass used to grab my finger). The screen seems to "pop" even more with this screen protector installed. finger prints are much less noticeable than when I was using nothing. I am very satisfied so far.

I've got the SGP crystal set on at the moment, front and back, they were a pain to put on, but I got them near perfect in the end.

I've just ordered some PS Anti Glare screens, I like the SGP's but I can't cope with how much grease and dirt they attract.

Finally got my PS Anti-Glare & Crystal back today. Thanks to the OP, your review, and tips helped me out a lot. PS is now officially my favorite screen protector. I previously used ZAGG invisibleshield and this is so much better as far as the feel of the protector itself. Here are some pics of the screen protector on the phone. By the way I also included a pic of an air bubble near the home button. I tried to get rid of it but it will not go away, will it work itself out?
