Looks very nice. I can understand why people stick with PS. Still pissed off that mine have not shipped yet, despite pre-ordering.

Anyway, If there are any UK people that want me to ship to them, I'd be willing to do that...not looking to make money or anything...just to do favours (from Sheffield, UK, but live in WI). $5.85 is the cheapest shipping option to me, plus say $5 to send on to UK via regular airmail. So that'd be $30 or so. What's that equate to at the moment...20 quid?

That's what worries me about the crystal. I'm going to wait to see some reviews of the ant-glare before I pull the trigger either way.

If my stupid pre order would ship already I would give you a review of the anti glare. My wife wants that on hers.

Thanks for the compliments of the pictures.

I actually just added a few more pictures of what I didn't put on yet on the original post.

I am realizing all the pain of having to get a set, wish they would better deal with customer service. At least, we know what to do if we ever start a iphone, ipod apple accessories business.

When I had called, it seemed that the guy was annoyed that I was calling, guess that's what the economy has done to people, made them sour, kinda sucks to give business to one that doesn't seem to highly value customer service. Oh well.

When I first called the guy sounded the same and without any info from me he just said Thursday and hung up. I called back gave them the order # and said Friday, they just don't have their act together.

I don't think Apple will be selling them anymore =/

I'm sorry to keep asking this since everyone seems so sure...but are we really sure? The Apple store in Southlake Tx has a never ending supply of PS screen savers for the older devices. Not just legacy stock - they get new ones in all the time.

Why would shouldn't I expect to see these there soon too?

SGP vs PS Adhesive?

I've used Power Support on earlier iPhones but just bought the SGP- what I cannot figure out is if they both use the same method of sticking to the phone. From what I gather, Power Support uses static but I think SGP uses some sort of different adhesive. Naturally, I'm a bit apprehensive about putting anything adhesive on the screen (i.e. SGP).

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I might order a few of the sets with UPS Worldwide Express shipping to the UK. If anyone is interested in buying a set, please send me a PM. That way we can share the horrible shipping costs of $80.

Like, for example, if I order 8 of them, and instead of giving them to interested people for $25 (16 GBP), I would charge $35 (23 GBP).

Hard to explain what I mean, but you should get the idea.
Basically I would need 7 peeps from the UK. I will pay for all of them in advance and ship them with Royal Mail once in UK.
Just pay me with bank transfer or PayPal once they arrived at your home.

3 more people interested so I can order on Monday with UPS Express?
Should be in the UK by Wednesday then :)
Please send me a PM.

SGP screen protectors use static-cling. There's no adhesive.

Apple has stated that they will no longer stock screen protectors for their newer products as it gives the impression that the screens are not up to par or some jive like that. Contact PS and ask them directly and they'll let you know.

No worries, stick it on there and you'll be fine.

OP do you see any movement in the protector at all? I recall the PS on my 3GS use to move around taking in and out if a case etc, I guess due to the coating on the screen

albert, do you have any tips for us for installing these with this new 3 piece installation? Should we start in the middle? Or the home button? Or the speaker and camera?

Thanks!

Also do the protectors go to the edge of the glass?

I'll try to get pictures up, but the protector goes almost to the edge of the glass, except for approximately 0.5mm around the edges. It's hard to capture certain things and answers to some questions people have posed.

Tips to Installation
(I'm sure there are other great ways from other members, but this is what I did to make it look like the photos i took)

- When i installed it, I ripped off the middle section part, then i held onto the edges of the outer backing that has not yet been removed. I tried to align first the front camera and speaker and then simultaneously looking at the home button before pressing down on the middle section and letting it cling.

- If you have problems, just lift up the exposed mid section and try again, it takes a little bit to align it right, just depends on how anal you are.

- If you do align the home button and camera and speaker the outside should align itself.

- Once the three key sections are aligned and the mid section is static clung to the screen, hold onto the mid section that is already clung onto the screen and rip off the other sections and you should be complete.

Not sure if this is easy to explain through words. Maybe i'll learn how to do video clips in the future that look professional.

I am interested. Is this the full set? BTW, I don't know how to use the PM on Macforums. Any help?

Thanks! This actually sounds much easier than just throwing it on!

I'll just turn on a hot shower, get some steam in the bathroom, and apply them in there so there is much less dust floating around!

I have had no movement on my screen protector and I've taken it out eight times and the protector has never bubbled or lifted either.

These seem to be pretty good and the same as if not better than their older generation ones.

Can you please post that Apple wallpaper. Love it!!

For those who like the wallpaper, I cannot take credit for them for I found them either on this forum or through the internet (if any of you made these, please let me know so I can credit you!)

No they don't. The SGP use a type of adhesive, but I can vouch that it leaves no residue. It says so on their website. I wasn't sure I liked their anti-fingerprint film on my iPad, so I removed it. About 5 minutes later I wanted it back. It was easy to remove and reapply.
