iPhone 4 Priority list

I only gave the guy my email address, which isn't associated with my account. I reserved two 16gig black iPhones and received two confirmation emails nearly instantly (one for each phone). I would probably call the store you put in the reservation with and make sure they have you down.
 
im really suprised that nobody got an email today saying to come pick up thier reservation phones. My local ATT store received two relatively small shipments today.
 
We could tell you . . . but then we'd have to kill you.

Local Apple store employee was evasive (but cheerful).

There is information that is not yet disclosed to customers . . .

On the record answer was:
Check your e-mail. (today was implied)

Next 24 hours for some lucky stiffs . . . I went in for a 32GB, but that was Friday morning --- I have no illusions that I'm getting it today.

I still have gin though, so it's cool :D
 
I don't think people should expect to get one before a week of getting on the priority list. I got onto the list on 24th morning. I expect one within the next 2 days....
 
I received an email for my priority list "reservation" today at about 10:30am. My phone is ready to be picked up.
 
Your iPhone is waiting at the Apple Store.

Thanks to the advice here on MRF, I added my name to the priority list at Tice's Corner NJ on Friday morning around 9:00 am for two 32GB iPhones.

Two emails with the subject: Your iPhone is waiting at the Apple Store came in today at noon. It also stated there would be a Specialist to help me get started and reminded me to bring valid ID, credit or debit card and SS#. It also states very clearly in bold blue that the reservation expires on Wednesday, June 30.

Hopefully this is good news for everyone else on the list! :)
 
Lucky, enjoy your iPhone 4. The Freehold, NJ Apple Store has yet to send me an email...

I only went to the Apple store here about an hour before they closed as my IT guy said he wouldn't be able to get me one before mid July.

I only had to wait in line an hour and missed out on a phone by about 3 people...was pout on the priority list Thursday at 9:25 p.m.

I called this afternoon and was told they were getting phones in since then, but they were going to people on the priority list...I asked how I was notified yet since I should have been third on the list but no answer.

I may need to drive over there and ask in person...OS4 on my 3G is awful.
 
Bah....just back from the Apple store and now some kid there is saying they haven't received any phones since launch day. Grrrrr.

They also have no access to the priority list. Guess I'm just hoping to get an email tomorrow.
 
I just called the Apple Store and they said that they will not be getting any iPhones till 2 weeks...

So I went to the ATT store today to order one. The ATT staff is illiterate!! They are a whole new species of humans. At least those who assisted me. No offense :)

They had no idea how to order one. And they kept asking me for details and trying different ways to order it. He also asked 3 people on how to order it!!

Then he said that I should get an E-mail with the order confirmation. Haven't got anything yet. Its been about an hour...

Hope he has not screwed up and has entered everything properly.
 
I was put on the prority list Friday but still no in stock email. Providence Apple store says its going to be a "few weeks."
 
Got my name on "the list" on Friday evening and received an email within a couple hours. The sales associate indicated they really had no idea when shipments would arrive, nor how many people were on the list ahead of me. :confused:

He did seem to think I did well by swinging by before the Saturday/Sunday chaos.

Nice to be on a list . . . but it doesn't help if you can't see you're making progress. Why the heck do they think call queues got the "you are person number n" messages? To make people more patient.

This is like that episode of Due South (I think??) where the guy is in "time depravation" . . . geeze give us a watch!

On the upside, can you imagine how long people will have to wait once CDMA iPhones are available? I'm guessing 6mos to a year to meet demands.

I *insisted* I wasn't going to get worked up about this or put myself in some ridiculous line/wait, but it seems like I put my mind there anyhow :D
 
I have been through pre order hell!!!! I've had my order confirmed, canceled, Charged twice!!! and more angry convos with at&t customer service than i care to count. But today finally some hope!!! i got in the "p" list. I think it may be like a week before i get my phone. The guy was super vague, but he also said that if i don't have my phone by Monday, call back....Keeping my fingers crossed!!!:(
