Seems like they most likely have already. If they are going to stop sales, then word would have gone out to the stores to stop selling them. Now, if people get emails today that theory is busted.

Lets hope people get their pickup emails today!:D

Ya, if this turns into a full-scale recall, it's going to at least be another 2 weeks on top of this 2 weeks. Sometime in August I am guessing...

Anyone else nervous about the press conference tomorrow? Like maybe they halted shipments to the stores?
Not a chance. Apple will _not_ stop shipping phones, or halt production. They've never had it better, why stop a money making machine?

I find it really fascinating that a massive number of people are waiting to buy a poorly engineered defective phone.

That just goes to show you how influential one man is in their lives. Drunk on power & control one person's hypnotized millions, convinced them to open their wallets wide and say ye$.

This is the best show in town. Sit back and laugh, after all it's only a phone. I feel sorry for those who get all wound up over it.

We know one thing for sure. The guy in the turtleneck is laughing all the way to the bank. Tomorrow he will have people hanging on his every word. Even scarier, many will believe what their told. This guys selling polluted ice cubes, and he can't make them fast enough.

Macarthur Mall Apple store - Pick-up email

Finally after about 19 days of waiting I have an email from this store to Pick-up a 16gb. I got the email at 3:15pm EST. Signed up on the 27th of Jun. Debating if I should pick it up or not. I want to see the news that will be released tomorrow. I have 1 member here that probably would want to use the reservation.

That pretty much puts my theory out the door. Thanks!

Hmm, at least we got news that apple stores seems to continue the sales and this whole press conference not affecting the priority lists.

P.S-I would take your reservation, too bad I live in California.lol

I just got my email a half hour ago! :)
I've been on the Victoria Gardens list since July 1st.
Only catch is the email says that i need to make a reservation time to pick it up tomorrow.. and the link doesn't work.
Has anybody else had this problem?

(I'm calling apple right now.. but you know the wait time for that! lol)

not sure if it has been posted or not...

does anyone have the link to the iphone 4 prioirity list that you use in the apple store to make the reservations?

Average Wait time for Glendale Galleria?

Anybody know the average wait time for an iPhone 4 at the Glendale Galleria in CA?
I reserved a 16 GB and tomorrow hits the 2 week mark =\
Just wondering how much longer I'll have to wait

I dont know why all of you are waiting around for one...I walked in a best buy yesterday and picked one up (they were out of 16s though). Few phone calls in an area with a bunch of best buys is all it takes to find one.

Well I have a gift card for Apple Store for $250, specifically to get an iPhone. I would absolutely love to go somewhere else to buy one, right now!

That's why this is so frustrating, this is my first iPhone and it's been a terrible experience. I pre-ordered on the 15th online, and never got it!! I've really been waiting for a month (on top of the years that I've wanted this phone!)

A week and a half after I should have received the phone, and several phone calls later, my order was STILL on hold. After a final 5-HOUR(!!) phone call (with so many transfers and different departments from both Apple and AT&T representatives & supervisors), we finally figured out that, because of the system meltdown on pre-order day, AT&T had 3 tentative accounts open for me. Because Apple only showed 1 order, + some other BS that I don't completely understand, NOBODY could come up with a resolution to fix the problem and get me my iPhone..... other than to cancel the whole thing and start over, with me at the end of the in-store priority line (or waiting 3 more weeks for another online order)! At least AT&T is giving me 3 months of service credit for my "inconvenience". That makes it slightly easier to be patient...but not much.

Been waiting on a few different lists around LA (and a few more around Kansas City, where my mom lives) for a 16GB, 11 days in...checking my email every 5 minutes!

Not sure about that specific store, but it's looking anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks right now if you ordered it on the 1st. It seems more and more like the 3 week as I just passed 2 on mine.

16GB seems to take at least a week longer than the 32. On the same lines, apple seems to be dividing their stock amongst stores fairly evenly (at least their own stores)

Congrats! I definitely want to see what they are going to say tomorrow at this press conference. If they announce the white one will be released, I may just wait. And this antenna thing is making me kind of leary. Thanks though!

Got my confirmation email today for my 32gb from Valley Fair store. Put my name on the list on the 8th and just like the apple employee said, 7-10 days and today is day 7.

Bittersweet feeling though with this news conference going on tomorrow.

What time is the conference??? My pickup time is from 11-1130.

I got on the list for the 16GB at that store since 6/29 and still no pick up email yet. My bro who reserved the 32GB version at the same time received his pick up email on 7/12. I got tired of waiting and called around to try my luck. There was a 32GB in-stock at a Bestbuy Mobile in Downy, so I picked that up.

When it rains, it pours. I got pickup notices from both Boylston and Cambridgeside stores today, on my birthday too :D This was 9 days after getting on those lists.

I was put on the waiting list for the iPhone 4 16GB on 7/3/10 at the Valley Fair store. 5 days later 7/8/10 I received an email informing me that I was moving up the priority list and should be hearing from them soon. How much longer am I going to wait, does anybody know?

Here is a picture of the email I received on the 8th.

Most everyone received the email and it means nothing other than that you are still on the list. Most are still waiting.

I called my local apple store (Simi Valley,CA) and said the wait for 16gb is about 2-3 weeks. And I signed up on July 5th,so few more weeks of waiting for me. Boo!

With all of the problems surrounding the launch of the iPhone and due to the less than stellar response by Apple, it is really making me resent the brand. I love their products but this is unacceptable.
