I think the "record" wait time on this thread is 19 days.
I will unfortunately be the new wait time record holder.
If you live on Long Island, I wouldn't bother with the priority list at the Smithaven Mall. I'm hearing rumors now from local people that the priority list there is between 7,000 to 10,000 people long.
19 days is easy to surpass the way I see it. I can't believe the possible numbers of people on these lists at some Apple Stores. 1000's???
Sorry to hear that. This is an unbelievable situation. Is this demand like it was for Beanie Babies years ago
I understand them not telling you where you are on the list, but I think its good business that if you put someone on this list you tell them how many are ahead of you on the list. This lets the consumer find other avenues to get the phone, rather than wasting their time.
I could have received 2 online orders through AT&T by now. Apple sucks.
Yes, I agree. I've call Apple Stores near me a couple of times a week and can't get any information at all. I tried to tell them if I knew where I was on the list I could decide to order on line or not. They just won't say.
Also, the fact that no one received another "your moving up the priority list email" this week leads me to believe their may be some kind of hold or delay this week due to the press conference.
It would make sense that everyone get the "moving up" email weekly to keep people updated.... but no one received an email yesterday. Hmmmmm....
Some people on the thread did report that they received emails yesterday. You would think it would be on halt, that's the most logical thing.
I have heard that Apple store employees are removing the new iPhone in the back and then bringing it out to you.

That's ridiculous. Maybe, we'll see our iPhones before they release a revision next June.
Nothing at Walmart, Best Buy wasnt opened yet. Reading some interesting stories though about what may happen today. Seems like a recall is out of the question, which is good for us waiting for phones.
Yes you would think. Still hard to imagine how far behind production is based upon some of the stories you hear about numbers of people on the waiting lists along. If there were indeed thousands seems like it would take months to move up the list. How about getting our emails today? Any bets?
After 2 weeks, I sure don't have my hopes up! Would be awesome if you at least got yours. Wonder how many are in between us.
Very hard to say and obviously they won't tell us. I think when either one of us gets an email from Tampa store will indicate that both of us should be getting one.
