iPhone 4 Priority list

After hearing about the white phone today I got my name on 5 lists today (i'm in the DC metro area). what sucks is I was first in line at my BB on launch day but decided to wait for the white... oh well. Hopefully I get an email tomorrow.
I am leaving for vacation the 15th of August (a sunday) i really hope i have it before then. I was added to the list at my only local apple store today.
Is there anything else i can do? Call around to AT&T stores or will apple always receive inventory before AT&T.

I walked into the Old Orchard (near Chicago) and bought a 32g Iphone with no pre ordering. the salesman said they had enough to last the weekend. So maybe supply is catching up.
Just got on the list today after the White iPhone was delayed. Called around to all the AT&T stores, and every single one of them said pre-order only, they don't get any walk-in shipments. Seemed rather odd considering many posters here say their stores get plenty of surplus. All Radioshacks and BestBuys were sold out too. Guess the iPhone is just too hot an item in my area.

Same here, since no White phone is coming anytime soon, I called around and everything's dried up here. Sadly in the bay area, everyone tries to be trendy so iPhones are snatched up the second they pop up. Had to call in today, 7/23 to put my name on the Priority List at the Bay Street store, here's hoping they call soon.
On the list yesterday at around 1PM at two stores, got my emails 20 mins ago to pick my phones up, cancelling one and picking up one. 1-3 weeks my ass, LOL
Lucky you, ordered mine on 07/07 and the darn phone is sitting someplace at the HK airport.

Does anyone know if you get your "ready for pickup" e-mail only in the morning or can it be anytime during the day? I just want to know if I should lose hope already for getting it today or if I could suddenly get an e-mail sometime later in the day.

If you haven't heard, Apple wanted to wipe out the priority lists by this weekend so all the apple stores got extra shipments. Prior, it really was a 2-3 week wait.
Are you in the UNC area at the moment? I put myself on the lists yesterday a couple of hours after you...nothing yet.

Just received another email notification for The Grove in West LA. Now I have one expiring today, and one tomorrow (I already bought my iP4 on Tuesday at Best Buy).
I signed up on Monday, so it's only been 5 days of waiting for this email. I guess I'll get the third one I signed up for in the next couple of days.

What time do these emails typically come in? I've heard anywhere from 8am-2pm, anyone gotten one after that? Cause I'm on a list at a store with probably the highest profits in PA... So you'd think they'd be a part of this huge shipment deal, right?
