iPhone 4 Priority list

If you want some news that will make you worry less is that you should be thankful you don't live in LA... my goodness. I have a reservation at 4 Apple Stores surrounding me and I made them prior to the release (on June 23rd), but no luck... still waiting. In the meantime, I've checked all Wall-Marts, Best Buys, AT&T stores, and RadioShacks all around... daily... and they're all out of stock too. Just comes to show that East Bay would be a much better situated city for releases than LA... I think our stores must have had the longest lines too, if not second only to NY's or Tokyo's.

YES I JUST JOINED TO POST THIS BUT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THIS SITE FOR A FEW DAYS NOW!. LOL.. MAN I AM NOT REALLY A PATIENT PERSON HOPE I GET IT SOON!. HATE THE FACT THE APPLE STORE PEOPLE DONT KNOW WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO GET MORE IPHONE'S!.
 
update:

I went on the priority list for the iphone4 on launch day. I got an email this morning letting me know it has arrived!

Oh gosh darn it to heck. My AT&T order finally shipped this morning to be delivered on July 6th and not 30 minutes later I got notice from the Apple store that mine is waiting to be picked up. Trying to figure out a way around the AT&T order, but can't. AT&T says I can't cancel it. Wonder if I can go buy the one from AT&T and put it on a new number and then sell it later?!?! $325.00 cancellation + $36 fee from AT&T for the new line. Is there any other fee's that I'm not thinking of?

Other option would be to pay full retail for the one today, put it on the plan and then sell the brand new one when it comes in on Tuesday. Wonder if I'm not thinking of something here though. Like, if I pay full price for the one from the Apple store, will I be able put it in place of the already ordered phone from AT&T since AT&T already shows I've upgraded.

Drat!! :mad: I hate being impatient and it not working out. Most likely just wait until Tuesday to get the one from AT&T. FedEx guy better show up early damnit. :D

Why didn't you cancel your reservation when you got it as to not clog up the priority list for the next person in line?:rolleyes:
 
Got lucky today at Best Buy

Was in the area around opening. They got a shipment in via UPS(had to wait about 20 minutes or so). then they checked the presales and came back and told us that they had six for sale. All of them were black 16GB. I cancelled my priority listing, and my apple store order. Good luck to all on your hunt!
 
Well...they wouldn't hook me up at Apple store since my account is through corporate.

Bought it anyway under my personal account I use for my wife and son...she gets this one and I'll just wait for my AT&T corporate delivery....maybe today as well?? Not likely...:(
 
I've been on the list from local apple store since last Friday when they started the list and I still haven't heard jack.

I find it hard to think they have not seen any more phones since then.
 
I've been on my local Apple Store's priority list since Friday as well, but I still have had no luck with a "pick-up-your-phone" email.

I'm really not convinced that they haven't had any new iPhone shipments.

The rep at my store was surprised...she said yesterday was the first day of shipments for them since prior to launch.:confused:
 
I just signed up on the list.

I'm pretty sure they will hopefully have it before July 14th.

And you know what sucks so much right now?

There is a best buy that has iPhones in stock and I have no ride.

fml.
 
Signed up for the Apple Store at the Grove in Los Angeles a week ago and just got an email. So it looks like I'd say the wait is about a week. Hope that brings some comfort to those waiting. :D
 
Signed up for three stores in New York on the 26th at the Fifth Ave Store, Upper Westside, and Meatpacking District. Got my email to pickup at the Meatpacking District yesterday and for the Fifth Ave Store today. Not that bad, less than a week wait. :D
 
i'm also waiting for my black 16gb. i put my name on the list at tice's corner NJ on monday afternoon. my 3G is really glitchy with 4.0, i really just want a new phone already!

i think i posted this in the other thread someone linked from here by mistake. whoops.
 
Well I just picked up mine. was on the list for 8 days. Cherry Hill, NJ. Apple store for those interested.

Who says Apple doesn't read Mac Rumors. I posted this at 12:49. At 1:17 I got my email saying my phone was ready for pickup...

I'm going to just go ahead and assume Steve saw my post and told them to get me my phone.

I'm getting annoyed at Apple not sending the Freehold, NJ Apple Store a new shipment in over a week. Enjoy yours. Maybe tomorrow I'll finally get one...
