Wow dude ur better off also getting on lists elsewhere Regents Street is thousands on the list. Would be interesting to read responses from UK people that order online maybe there getting it quicker than instore priority lists.

At least online orders can be viewed (updates)
 
Anyone reserved and picked there's up from highcross - Leicester?! Holla! :)

Do all the shops send out confirmation emails? Put my name on the list 5 July in Milton Keynes but haven't heard anything.

Everyone I know who has put their name on the priority list either over the phone, or in person, has received an e-mail confirming with the following text:

Your iPhone 4 will be here before you know it. Look for an email from us letting you know it's ready to pick up. When you come in, we'll have Specialists ready to help you set up your iPhone 4 so it's just the way you like it. We look forward to seeing you at the store.

Reading on these and other forums it looks like some people are getting a "moving up the list" e-mail and then the notification that it is ready to pick up. Personally I don't know of anyone that has received a "moving up the list" e-mail in the UK, so read into that what you will !!
 
Wow so much. Hmmmm

I think mentally I'm going to just disengage becos its now getting me impatient. Lol
 
I haven't received any 'moving up the list' emails either. Think they might be US-only.

Has anyone picked up from White City (London) in the last couple of days? If so, when did you get on the priority list?

Thanks, Richie. I've just given them a ring to find out and my name is on the list. Didn't want to be sitting here waiting only to find out they'd not got my details. Even though I've not heard anything they've got my email address and say I should get one of the next batch to come in. They don't know when it'll be but never mind. Here's to a trouble-free phone! Fingers crossed!
 
I have been on the list in both Bristol stores since 28/6 and still nothing from either.

Lots of calls to them, but no-one is saying anything!

I know they can only make so many, but I'm getting impatient!! :confused:

What time have people been receiving their emails? Do you wake up to it, or is it a lunchtime surprise?

I rang them yesterday and they said I should be getting an email soon seeing as I was high on the list.

Got the email this morning though, just picked it up!
 
Has anyone had any luck on the Birmingham list , put my name down 30th June getting tired of waiting now :/
 
I ordered mine online from orange on Monday 12th, its been despatched and will arrive tomorrow Wednesdays 14th.
 
How is the situation in Manchester?
Been on the list since July 3rd in Trafford Centre (32gb).. and I was hoping that I'll get an email this morning due to the big shipment on July 14th..

It's so frustrating.. :(
 
Lakeside

Would be interested to hear from anyone who's been on the Lakeside priority list...I got on the list on the 13th July for a 32GB, I was supposed to be on it since the week before but then realised everyone else had got a confirmation email which I never received! So I phoned the store to get them to confirm and the guy goes "Hmmm no sorry it doesn't look like you're on the list!" So now I've only been on it for two days.

Anyone else waiting from Lakeside?
 
Anyone else from Leicester or anywhere else in or near east midlands. God waiting for apple to contact me is getting ridiculous.
 
I put my name down on the Regent St list on the evening of the 26th June for a 32GB and got my email last Thurs (15th July) morning, so about an 18 day wait. I was getting really fed up and had decided to try to order online but though I'd give it until the end of the week and it FINALLY came through.
 
Regent Street

Regent Street has a 3-4 week wait time. If you can reserve at a different store you should do it. There's 10,000+ on the waiting list for Regent Street. This info comes from an Apple employee at the Regent Street store where I went to pick up mine today. Signed for it on the 27th.
 
Milton Keynes got some last Friday. I had 2 on the list and got the email. Of course, I had 2 online orders as well and they came the same day. I just figured Apple had a large batch sent to the UK.

Also, bought a bumper the same day Jobs announces they're free. No biggie. I'll get a refund.
 
I ordered my first iPhone from Vodafone on Wednesday night. It will be available for pick up on Monday.

Now I am checking out which Apps to buy.

Woop! What date did you join the MK list?
I've been on it since the 1st July for the 32GB.
