iPhone 4 *UK* Priority List

Yeh seems it's at apples store there's a of phones. Thing is I want 1 on three mobile. But neither three has the iPhones in stock nor do apple so I have to. bloddy wait.

Local orange, o2 n vodaphone have limited stock but have them non-the less. I may just go with a different carrier tbh

He is wrong, I just got my Italian 3GS iPhone exchanged at the Regent Street apple store.

I'm in the same boat as you dude, I didn't even realise until about 2 weeks after the launch that you could get the phone on 3 from apple on launch day! I thought I had to wait soon as the 3 site says "coming soon".

That said, I am determined to wait for stock at apple because 3 (IMO) is by far the best network regardless of what the charge (which is possibly the best iPhone plans around anyway). :rolleyes:
 
Has anyone got a pick up mail from the Brighton store & if so when did you get added to the list?

I am on day 20 now & still no joy!! Not expecting anything on a Sunday, so tomorrow will be 3 weeks. Wishing I had ordered online!

Indeed. Well let's keep updated on each others progress. Currently I'm on priority list as individual (1 week n waiting) and business (1day and waiting) as well as ordered online. Looking at 3-4 weeks wait

What is the business waiting list? Is that from 3 or Apple?
I would imagine that would get pushed to the top of the list rather than the normal waiting list.

I'm day 17 I think, waiting for the Milton Keynes stock.
I kinda want a white one though, I'll let fate decide which I get :p

Just got back in from town (Nottingham) and went into both 3 Stores to see if they had an ETA on when the would have the iPhone 4 in store, was quite interesting and frustrating to hear their responses:

The first store I went in told me that they wouldn't be having them any more because of the antenna issues. This is clearly ******** though soon as it still says coming soon on the 3 website and apple are still selling them on 3 (as far as I know).

The second store told me that it would be in "a week or two". Hopefully they will get some stock soon otherwise it's a bit of a disaster for their network.

I am on the waiting list at the lakeside store. Signed on for the 16gb black iphone on the 29th June.. Still no news :(

White City (since 25 June)
Milton Keynes (since 29 June)

I make that 23 and 19 days respectively.

Has anyone picked up from one of those stores that reserved around the same time as me?

Getting seriously impatient!

Ridiculous really. I think it's best u disengage emotionally. I'm trying hard to do that as it's prolly the best way to ride out this iPhone 4 drought lol

What is most annoying is the basic lack of knowledge some of the reps have.

My local lei fester apple store dude told me that they have non expected till September. I find that hard to believe.
 
Quick question.... Which network would you guys consider best for the iPhone 4?
 
A friend of mine got his E-Mail today. (on sunday :rolleyes: )

16GB in Manchester.
Unfortunately, he is not interested anymore to buy this iPhone.

Been on the 'priority' list since 6th July at Solihull/Leceister/Birmingham....no pick up email yet :(

Anyone picked up from any of these stores yet ? or know when they are getting any deliveries or stock ?

WOOHOO!!!

Received emails from both stores this morning and am now the (very) proud owner of a brand new 32GB iPhone 4 https://forums.macrumors.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Have cancelled the Milton Keynes order; hope the next person in line gets their phone that little bit quicker.

Trust me, it's worth it.

I decided to pick up my friends 16GB iPhone today, if I dont get an email for my 32gb iPhone (which I really want) by Thursday I'm gonna keep it. :rolleyes:
 
After reading this thread I'm assuming that it's impossible to just waltz into one of the London stores and buy a brand new sim-free iPhone 4. Is that a correct assumption?

Perhaps I should simply order from the online store as I live in Iceland and I'll only be in London for a couple of days?
 
I am on the list of apple eldon square and I was put down about 3 weeks ago. Still no word.

As I placed my pre order on the same day as you, I should get my white city email this week YAAAY
