Galaxy looks nice... but if you wanna spec sheet it the HTC Rezound beats out the galaxy as far as i'm concerned.

Beyond that, I have easily 200+ dollars in apps on iOS. Does android let me use those?

Also, will android do iCloud and PhotoStream? (owning 2 Mac computers and an iPad, this is a HUGE feature.. one I would choose ANY day over NFC and 'beam').

The galaxy is a cool phone but for me personally the Mac and iOS integration is vastly more valuable to me than anything the Galaxy can do that the iPhone can't (which last I checked isn't much, it does have a bigger screen but lower PPI).

lol,the nexus looks like cr@p.

You're entitled to your opinion. Ironically enough, that's what I think of the iphone's design. Some people like some things while other people prefer other things. I personally find the HUGE amount of bezel on the iphone to be very unattractive (almost 50% of the front of the phone is made up of bezel) and I find the one large physical button to be unattractive also ( they should have went with a capacitive button a long time ago).

Android phones just don't last for me. 1-3 months in and they really show their age. Constant slow downs and reboots

The problem that I have with Android devices is fragmentation. I'm sorry, I would love to buy another Android device, but who's say in 6 months, the new Android 5.0 won't support it. Ridiculous. Every 2 months, another flagship phone comes out for Android. It is just too confusing. But with Google phones, they usually update them fairly quickly. If you get an Android device, it is best to get a Google one.

hahaha....when will you lot ever ever realise that the galaxy nexus is a better phone...for christ sake...the iPhone is an outdated style now...small screen, buttons etc and not very durable,...the nexus is the way all high end phones will go,i mean look at the Nokia lumia 800,put that next to the iPhone, both similar size, but the Nokia is a work of art, scratch proof ,SHATTERPROOF,just a great looking phone...the iphone4 was the state of the art in looks when it came out in 2010 but that was 19 months ago...which in this industry is an eternity...it just looks old hat now...just people on here cannot..will not admit when something is better.....sad...very sad...

When will you realize that what you are posting is strictly YOUR opinion. You are stating your opinions as if they are facts.

When will you realize that the iPhone is perfect in every way. The Nexus is another prime example of yet another phone running a crappy OS.

See what I mean? What I in bold is my opinion and only that.

Perfect in every way would be an irrational statement. There's no such thing as a phone that's perfect in every way. I get what you were trying to get at it, but not the best example.

well thats your and every other person on here!!!...iv had mobiles since the late 80s when they first started appearing, analogue ones..when motorola and oki ruled, and back then in the early days of the internet forums wert slagging off every other manufacturer....just people don't realise that apple instead of being groundbreaking with their design of the iPhone...which they were, and the iPhone right up to the 4 was a brilliant bit of kit,but now everybody has caught and and passed them, they are now playing catch up....and obviously the next gen iPhone will be a brilliant phone...but thats being worked on now,and when its finally released the other manufacturers will have surpassed apple again,i mean in feb 2012,quad-cores will be out, samsung have got the completely flexible screen in the pipeline...just cannot see how apple will beat them....they arnt trying to win anymore customers just fobbing the current ones off with siri...i mean come on...not exactly groundbreaking is it???
what was new and groundbreaking on the 4S...nothing...and ok android might release new hardware very quickly but everything seems to be an advancement....oh and by the way I'm not anti apple iv got a 4S,and have apple products for years...never even bothered with windows...but now windows 8 is on the horizon i might be tempted,it looks very very good.
So in a nutshell what I'm saying is if something new comes out there is no need to slag it off,iv got Audi RS5 now, always had BMW Mseries wether the 3 or 5,and loved them, but the Audi is just a better car and not afraid to try something new and it is a better car than the BMW....and I'm a BMW lover!!!

My only comments:

1. Google Earth better damn well be faster on a phone that was designed by the same company.
2. Clearly the TiP was cached on the Nexus as you can tell when he was entering the URL.

This is not news.

For the last couple of years since Android came to the market, iPhone has gain significant competition.

The first Samsung Galaxy Spica (i5700) already beaten iPhone 3GS by quite an amount .. for much less $$

And then Samsung Galaxy S beaten iPhone 4

And then this Galaxy Nexus try to knock off iPhone 4s, and in some way it made it.

And also Playstation 2 also had inferior graphics to Xbox.
But then what? You know who's being the most popular. Like people said here, spec ain't everything. It matters too, but having a highest spec numbers oftenly doesn't make you number 1.

+1 :)

For me, the Iphone 4/4s is a contrived design. It's as if the sole design brief was to create something with premium look/feel, but in doing so they created something with subpar ergonomics, practicality and inferior RF perfomance. It's very unlike apple, and I would never count it as a design classic.

The sooner they move on from this design the better.

Please....the galaxy S could barely keep up with the 3GS let alone the 4 or 4S.

For a person who thinks his/her posts are fact/truth, you lose so much credibility writing like a unmature 12 year old.

Android wins in the "most times I restart my phone in a day contest"

Android wins in the "most apps with malware derby"

Android wins in the "fastest to drain battery race"

Android wins with the owners with "most star wars toys competition"

Way to over generalize android. Typical of apple fanboys

Naths, you're probably set in your ways, but a little bit of grammar and punctuation goes a long way when arguing your point.

It is very difficult to read your posts compared to most of the other posts.

Not really a generalization if malware has increased by 425% in the last quarter in the Android marketplace. And I do believe many owners of Android based phones do have crappy battery life due to 4G, larger screens, and inability to turn off crapware running in the background.

It's not a generalization when it is fact. Sorry.

I've had none of the issues you speak of and it's odd, most of my apple fanboy friends are also huge Star Wars geeks.

You lucked out then because everyone on my campus hates android for the stability issues. The last part of your post does not make sense - if it was an attempt at humor I would call that humor fail.

It wasn't an attempt at a joke. Many Android and iPhone fans love Star Wars. Myself included.

The fact that it was used originally as a joke against him/Android users was a FAIL. An immature fail.

It's sad that people still argue about this. If Android/iPhone users can't get along, there is absolutely no hope for peace in the middle east. It's stupid stuff like this (and stupid people) that cause problems in the world.

You are fighting with someone about a phone. You do realize that don't you?
