Earlier I listed my pre-sale for sale on e-bay and was surprised at the number of iPhone 4 listings there are! Just surprised so many people are already listing 4's.
Yeah, sold my 32g pre-sale for $875 ;)
 
Hmmm... if there is a huge shortage and they are selling for ridiculous amounts... I might have to sell mine and make a little dough and wait a few weeks to get one... (I'm only eligible for no-commitment pricing, anyways)... But it's going to have to alot of money.
 
Well i've sold 2 so far, one for 1150, one for 1050... 49.99 for shipping on each.

Im a top seller, so i benefit from the exposure.

But yes, getting an extra one for ebay is ALWAYS a win. :D

.. why would someone pay that much for a phone that is locked to a network, that can buy it from cheaper for?
 
It's almost funny that some people don't realize you can pre-order them and pretty much guarantee launch day delivery... but I'm sure your not complaining!

I'm actually thinking about doing this now that I see how much I coudl make.

So all you do is get it on launch day and ship it to the winner?

Call me stupid, but why would people pay so much when they could just go to the store?

i suppose they want to guarentee getting one incase there are stock shortages

And where have you heard about an unlock for iphone 4? it's not been proven jailbreakable yet as far as I'm aware? The baseband sounds like it might be exploitable, but that would still rely on having jailbreak for the main OS
 
Hopefully the unlock comes out sooner rather than later, then!
 
What if you don't secure an extra? Thinking about upgrading my 3rd line to resell but I'm not sure yet.
 
Also, can you get rid of the data plan after receiving it? My 3rd line is just a regular phone, so it doesn't need a data plan.
 
4.0 GM has already been jailbroken, and the baseband hasn't changed from 3.1.3, which the dev team and geohot have an exploit for. Unlock should be out the first week.

? Not sure what you mean by "secure an extra". I am pre-ordering one on each of my open lines and one on my sister in laws line in Fl. So I will have 3 pre-ordered.

We won't be picking up my wife's phone until later in July (she said she wanted to wait) so I may just sell her's off too and pay non commit price for a 16gig 4 later. Hmmm...... thinking, thinking lol.

I just meant, what if something goes wrong and you don't end up getting an extra. You'd have to refund the buyer. :eek:

If I can cancel the iPhone data plan I'll "upgrade" my 3rd line and sell it.
