iPhone with contract and blood thirsty AT&T pulling in 6 months contract period to keep more users locked up. How is that ANYWHERE related to iPad again?

To people selling internationally, are you unlocking for them?
From what I understand, you'll have to at least get past the activation screen using AT&T sim once you get it so they can JB, you can't sell it without turning it on because they won't be able to get past that screen without an AT&T sim.
Anyone know the best instructions for unlocking IOS4?

There are no instructions, or indeed known details if it's yet even possible on iPhone 4. It's known it will be possible on all existing devices that are jailbreakable, as theres a known unpatched exploit for current baseband, but new hardware is presently an unknown for both jailbreak and unlock.

I ordered the new iPhone on June 15th from Apple and their system was having problems so I would usually get the oops page at the end of my order. I had heard that some people were successfully ordering two phones (I was trying to upgrade 2 iPhones.)
The next day, I got an order confirmation for three phones and my cc has been charged.
If I actually do get all three (for $199 each) I would sell one on ebay but am not sure what your commitment to AT&T would be? An etf? First month's service?
Or, do I just avoid the hassle and return to Apple? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So, how's that going for you then.. as I tried to say, there is no known unlock or jailbreak yet for iPhone 4, only iOS4 on previous devices.

So in the whole pre-order fiasco, I had three orders go through via AT&T. Two were cancelled, so I was only charged for one phone. Surprisingly, I received TWO phones in the mail though. I called AT&T about it but ironically my call was dropped before anything could be done.
So now I'm thinking of just selling the second one on eBay. It's unopened. My other phone has been activated to my AT&T account. My question is, what are the restrictions of this phone if I try to sell it? Can I sell it to someone else and they can activate it for THEIR AT&T account or will it only activate on mine? Can they activate it without a contract?
On eBay the phones are listed as unlocked or without contract. I'm guessing mine is at least locked to AT&T (since it was sent to me from them), but is the phone tied to MY account specifically or am I safe to sell it as a locked to AT&T phone?
