How many are you allowed to preorder? Can you just get 2 at non-commitment pricing?

I still don't see how you can guarantee a jailbreak/unlock.
 
I'm a little confused, but really want to do this lol.

So I go to the store and buy a phone. Won't they activate it? Or it doesnt matter if they do or not?

Then once I leave the store, I ship it to the winner.

Would I be able to go to another store and get another phone for me?
 
how does shipping worldwide work?? What shipping companies do you guys use??

I was thinking of unlocking once an unlock came out and then selling on eBay

For the current gen phones, yes, starting from an earlier exploitable firmware, ie 3.1.2 or 3.1.3, and doing a pwned update to 4.0 ( for 3gs where this matters as it will for the 4 ). Not starting from basepoint of 4.0? unless I missed something

I set customs to retail price. Yes they have tracking, and the cheapest i've come across.

I mass sell the Apple ipad case (since i make like 30 per case on ebay) and most of my buyers are international

Also, does it worry you guys that there is no seller protection for shipping worldwide?
 
Its pretty much all software stuff, with 4.0 jailbroken, it will only need minor tweaks prob

It needs a known exploit in either iOS4 or the bootloader, I'm not aware of the former existing currently, as Spirit is no doubt patched in IOS4 and relies on starting jailbreak on 3.1.3 or earlier for the 3GS, whether to start with or by downgrading, and no one knows on latter not having had an iphone 4 to experiment with yet, as this obviously can not be downgraded from 4.0GM that it starts with.

the jailbreaks for iOS4 on existing phones rely on one of these known exploits to get started.

I just listed mine to US sale only. I have over 1300 feedback and have sold international but don't want to mess with that this time around.

No need to do either of those. You only have to have a data plan on the phone, if you're not using the phone you don't have to have a data plan. No need to pay the ETF as I am signing a new 2 year contract.

if we pre-order online from apple store for upgrade my family plan.,
how many iphone I can get?
I knew if we upgrade, there is no sim inside the iphone.
So if we dont activate it, do we get charge for the data?
Or they charge data at the time I order ?..
If they charge data, can we like using the sim on a regular phone
to call ATT to take out the data plan?
Anyone done so before?

So I buy an phone on launch day (at upgrade price).
Do I just leave the store and ship it?
Or do I have to do anything specific?
Can I then go to a different store and buy another phone for myself?

Is there really seller protection for selling worldwide? Any links?

I'm interested in doing this also but the thought of being ripped off scares me. Sold a MacBook on eBay before (internationally) where the Buyer used a stolen credit card through PayPal, and PayPal only notified me a few days after I sent the item and took the money back. I was lucky enough to have the item stopped in transit, and after many long discussions I found out that there is no protection for shipping items worldwide.. but this was a few years back, not sure if things had changed.
