iPhone 4S Order Status Thread

Ordered my white 64gig AT&T on October 7 at 8:30am on the apple store site, now says preparing for shipment and delivering on October 14.

Was anyone able to change their shipping address after placing the order? I know it's too late now but I'm curious as to whether anyone was able to do that without screwing up their delivery date.
 
Preparing For Shipment!

I preordered a Sprint 16G and AT&T 32G @ 5:45 am on the 4th, the Sprint one now says "preparing for shipment but the AT&T one still says processing. 🙂
 
Oh I don't care if it ships the same day or a week later. I'm just glad to see some progress with all the millions ordered 😉
 
My AT&T 32GB (ordered via Apple) is preparing for shipment.

And I went from "There's no way I'm ordering the 4S to replace my 3GS, I wanted a redesign" to now, where I'm just as excited as I was when I ordered my 3GS! 😀
 
i ordered with an ATT rep over the phone Friday morning around 9 am PST. I have not gotten an email, and when i check the status online it gives me an error. I called in yesterday to confirm it was taken and they said the order is in place.

anyone last year have a similar occurrence? I will be leaving friday evening and will need my 4S for the weekend :/
 
I ordered on the Verizon site about midday Saturday. Though the process went smoothly and I received a confirmation e-mail right away, a few minutes later another e-mail came in saying my order had been cancelled. Does anyone know what causes this?

I could try Sprint, but the Verizon signal is better in my rural area.

If the email didn't say, I doubt anyone here will now. I'd recommend calling Verizon? 😕

+1 Works great. The iOS app is a paid app, but Junecloud has a free widget that you can use without buying the iOS app if you like.

Well I called AT&T today and the lady told me that I should be able to check my order status anytime after the 14th. WHAT! The guy who took my order told me I'd be getting the phone on the 14th. So I said, "Should I assume that I will not be receiving the phone on the 14th then?" and she was like "We can't guarantee that, no."

I'm so angry.

I stayed up all night Thursday night trying to order the phone early enough so I'd get it on launch day. AT&T can't provide me with decent service in NYC, they should at least provide me with some good customer service.
